Ok, caseybo if I were you I would have my bloods checked. It's not a joke since Yasmin may cause a vit B deficiency. Sounds like vit B12 or B6, actually. Get yourself checked up. You can top up your vit b6 easy by introducing some vit. supplements and meaty and eggy diet but b12 as being stored in a liver has to be injected if lacked.I have just come off Yasmin because I had a decreased sex drive up to the point there was no purpose to take a pill. Also bad skin and getting erratically moody. I have been off for just over a week now after being on for 8 months. Blime!I soo bloated, have PMS-like symptoms including aching ovaries, back pain, muscle pain, tiredness, overall fatigue and the strangest one: tingling sensation all over my upper body, like something is creeping on me.anybody experienced that?Cannot wait to get back to my old normal. I only hope I won't put any wt on!I do not have an appetite at all as for now. Also want my boobs to get back smaller as DD seems to be to heavy.

I took Lisinopril for 2 months and began noticing soreness and stiffness cramping in my legs. Joint pain and general muscle weakness. Biggest indicator was my inability to ride road bikes (bicycle) nearly as much as normal. I did not have the muscle strength or stamina to ride like before. On one ride I had such sever cramping I had to get pick up, first time in 18 yrs of bicycling. It also states to not use sodium or potassium supplement while on this medicine, which I was doing for cramping. Also because I was borderline hypertension I did not notice any decrease in BP while on this. I have stopped taking this medicine. nn

An update to my husband's experience after taking Lipitor 10 mgm/day for 4 yrs. He developed Parkinson's disease and stopped taking Lipitor at that time--summer 04. He is taking anti Parkinson's drugs as well as many vitamins and suplements in an attempt to correct some of the damage done by Lipitor. He is fairly stable. My niece's husband who was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the same time as my husband and had been taking Lipitor also, continued on Lipitor for another 1 1/2 yrs. He had a progressive neurodegenerative disease course and died 2 yrs ago. 3 other individuals with whom I am acquainted who have been diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases have not stopped their Lipitor--one individual's diagnosis has progressed from Parkinson's to Parkinson's with Lewy Body dementia to Multiple Systems Atrophy. this is the same progression my niece's husband experienced. The other 2 individuals are currently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Husband started taking 1200 mgm of coenzyme Q10/day upon diagnosis of Parkinosn's. This amt has been shown to be beneficial to those with early stage Parkinson's--irregardless of their statin status. Seem all parkinson's patients have abnormally low levels of CoQ10 in their blood--and statins DEPLETE CoQ10. What a set up!!!!!

Has anyone experienced hair loss due to taking Yaz?
I feel like I'm losing a lot more hair than normal these days. (I'm 34).
A ton of hair comes out after a shower, but quite a bit during the day as well. HELP!!!!

I am taking Mg plus Protein for magnesium deficiency due to Prograf, a drug for prevention of organ transplant rejection.
I have experienced no negative effects from this, and have been able to maintain adequate magnesium levels since starting this supplement. It has worked where the previous suplements, (generic drugstore type and intravenous) have not worked.
Wholeheartedly recommended to anyone requiring a magnesium supplement.
