I took a series of six shots for Endo. I went immediately into menopause and it was not fun. The Doctor did inform me of some of the side effects but by the time I stopped I could not even stand myself. The hot flashes came in waves. I had mood switches where I thought I was Sybil. I now suffer with back pain, aches in my joints and memory lost. At the time due to the endo I would have tried anything. I had bled so bad and consistently I was anemic most of the time. I was blessed to have a child but afterwards the endo came back as strong as ever. I ended up having a complete removal and was told just recently that I still have some endo tissue still causing me some problems.

I'm so glad I found this site. I suspected the cough might be connected with the Lisinopril. I was taking 5 mgs and then was upped to 20 mgs and the cough seemed to start then. It feels like a speck of dust in my throat that won't go away no matter how much I drink. My mouth is extremely dry at night. When I get that dust speck feeling, the only thing that helps it is to eat something, just something small, anything. That helps it for awhile. It didn't concern me that it was something else, because the sensation switches sides of my throat.

I'm on my second week of Loestrin. I started on the first day of my period, I had two heavy days and 3 days of light spotting....only requiring a panty liner. I have had a bit of hormonal acne crop up, which I was prepared for, as my skin doesn't like change of any kind. I'm sure this will even out over the next couple of months as my body adjusts to the hormones in Loestrin. Several years ago I was on ortho-cyclen and when I first started on that bcp I had similar skin issues, so I'll give it a couple of months before becoming concerned. Other than the breakouts I have had no negative side effects so far. That said...I think judging a pill that switches up your hormone levels prior to being on it longer than 2 months is a bit premature. I realize that I have to be patient and wait out some side effects as my body adjusts.
