Well ladies let me tell you what... I must be super sensitive to this crap!! I started the ring because I had used it years ago and LOVED it!! I mean LOVED it! It WAS the only bc that didn't give me any issues... they really must have changed it... I'm gonna list my new symptoms and reasons for taking this crazy thing out...

Nausea,
Headaches,
Visual Migraines... spots in eyes
Dry Mouth
Breast Pain
ALL of my hair is FALLING OUT
in 3 days gained 10lbs!!
Mood swings
Think i'm pregnant every day!
Still get cysts (which was my need for the ring)
Horrible constipation/diarrhea... IBS like
Lack of energy
Itchy scalp
Leg pain
Hip pain
All the symptoms of thyroid issues!!
Circulation issues
Took Sudaphed and almost had a stroke!! BP was 180/110 WOW!!
normally is 117/67

My advise... GET OFF THE NEW RING... The old one was great...this new one is DANGEROUS!! I have worked with doctors for years... they prescribe things that the cute sales reps bring...

Contact me if you have felt the same... It's good to know there is someone out there that has been thought it too!!

Hi All

I've been on Yasmin for a year. At first, it’s fine until there’s some side effect such as emotionally, leg cramp, headaches, breathless, chest pain, etc. since July ’08. Had stopped taking Yasmin on end Aug ’08. Since stopping it, I feel much better emotionally but was feeling so sick every day as had gained about 9 Lbs, stomach bloating, indigestion, abdominal pain, headaches, water retention (swelling on my finger & legs), having acne on my face, skin become very dry & skin allergy and the worst is that I’m losing lots of hair everyday (about 1/4 of my hair in the past few months and it’s still dropping & some portion already bald).
Could anyone give some advice how to get my hair back to normal through their experience?

Thanks

Feeling like one is not all here, and, shortness of breath are a symptoms of thyroid system problems caused by lisinopril that I have had, along with weight gain, favoring sweet sugary foods (I've traditionally a meat eater, no dessert, no sugar, few starches).

The most likely action seems to be that the lisinopril creates a chemical toxicity that overdrives the immune system, which then runs the body low on or out of zinc and selenium. (Of course then there is the more direct lung dammage that lisinopril causes too.)

I have found the following helpful: Zinc, selenium, L-Cysteine, tyrosine, iodine, boron, and other trace minerals help and nourish the thyroid system. Manganese and molybdebum help the lungs function better (they are used in asthma treatment). Iron, copper, and chromium sometimes also helps the lungs work better. Sulfur (MSM), L-cysteine, and silcia (found in horsetail form or oceanic form) nourish the lungs as they are found in high concentration in the lungs. Calcium and magnesium, vit-e, vit-c, vit-b are also helpful. Since I'm in the hbp camp, I also try to get plenty of magnesium, which relaxes muscles including arteries, and potassium, which helps transport other nutrients into the cells.
