I was given a shot in I think January of 2008, not knowing exactly what it was, because I had a fever and the doctor said it would jump start my recovery. At first there seemed to be no problem with the injection site and I felt great just days after.
A couple of months later, when I was working out and losing weight and keeping a very close eye on my body because of it. Suddenly, I noticed that I had a deep indentation and discoloration on the left side of my lower back - right where they gave me the shot. It seemed like it appeared over night. It got deeper, and darker as time passed.. I was scared to press my finger in it because when I did, it just kept going in..as if there was no fat OR muscle in that spot.. I was FREAKED out. I'm a model so this fact that there was a bottomless whole in my lower back was devastating. I also feared that there may be something life threatening going on. I mean, a chunk of you just doesn't disappear overnight..Unless someone stole your kidney, but, I didn't wake up in a bath tub full of ice.
I typed in "Injection that causes Indentation in the lower back" and I found this board. Everyone here suffered the same exact symptoms from this shot and worse. I was certain that it had to be Kenalog. It seemed to cause death of all tissue at the injection site, depression, lethargy, moodiness, insomnia, pain and all sorts of other symptoms after this shot. I started to suffer from all of them soon after the shot and I didn't really know why or where it came from. I was in so much pain and was so tired.. I stopped doing everything I loved and I could barely sleep because of the pain.
I don't know what to do about this. I'm extremely broke and I don't have health insurance(and they wouldn't fix anything considered to them as "cosmetic" anyways).. My parents are in no position to help me anymore and I could never afford an attorney to try to claim against this.
How can I go about fixing this with no money? Is there any way to fix this to begin with?
Any advice, insight or experiences would be GREATLY appreciated!

I've been having ringing in my ears (tinnitus) which started at about the same time I started taking Lisinopril. Has anyone else experienced this side effect?

I have been taking interferon,alfa-2B for 10 years, I take 3mu five days a week. This last batch number 5-10L-104, has caused swelling, major discomfort at all sites (legs) and my hands are so stiff I can't open twist off caps. My whole body aches, this is new compared to the usual symptoms, is anyone else having problems with this batch? I had problems a couple of years ago and found out what was in my syringe may not have been interferon but saline or water. It just started with this batch of medication and I'm wondering if it's just me or if anyone else has a problem. This batch expires july 06.

Zyloprim was prescribed for my dog a Chow Chow sick with Leishmaniasis. Within five days of starting her on the drug it nearly killed her. I started her on it on Tuesday, April 15. Within about two days, she quit eating, began drinking huge amounts of water and became progressively weaker. I had bad feelings about what was happening and I quit giving her the Zylopim on either Friday evening or Saturday morning. On Saturday evening she was so weak she could barely walk out of the kennel or stand. She got progressively weaker Sunday. By Sunday evening, I did not think she would survive until morning. She became so weak that she could not stand or sit or even lift her head. I had to give her water by holding her head up and using a syringe. On MOnday morning I was very surprised that she was still alive and now could hold her head up but had no eneregy and could barely stand up. It took a full week (until Sunday April 27)from Sunday for her to get back to where she was before she started receving the drug. She also developed a huge open leison on one elbow and I noted she developed open sores and a discharge from several of her nipples. Literature on Leishmaniasis said to give 20 mg /kg a day. She weighed about 41 lbs (use to weigh about 60 lbs before the Leismaniasis made her sick). I will have to check the bottle. She may have been overdosed

I am freaking out reading all of this. My dermatologist just injected my scalp about 20 times with Kenalog for female pattern balding to stimulate hair growth. She says that it is diluted. What makes me upset is that she just told me that this is our plan and we get good results with this and she just walked up to me with a syringe and needle. I stopped her long enough to ask how much it hurts and she just started injecting. After I was home I was angry at myself that I did not stop her and ask more questions but I really felt that she did not want to take any time with me. She did not inform me of any side affects or statistics. She did not even tell me the cost. I was not given the opportunity to make an informed decision. I did not even know what it was called until she was done. This does not seem ethical to me. I feel like a victim. Now I have to wait and worry what is going to happen to me in the next few months. Has anyone been given injections into their scalp? Please let me know.
