Here's a question- What are we supposed to say to our doctors to take this seriously and stop treating it like it's in our heads. Should they check our hormone levels? Have any doctors or nurses ever posted here?

Lisinopril was substituted for Zestril. No problems with Zestril, but with Lisinopril 30-45 min. after taking I always develop red, burning, itching arms and sometimes on other parts of body. This looks and feels like a very bad sunburn.
Also have annoying dry cough and stuffy nose.
Although bp somewhat under control, the side effects of this medication are unpleasant and most times unbearable.
What does this medication contain that causes these problems? If it's supposed to be the same as Zestril, then don't claim it is when it creates so many reactions. Insurance companies need to take their heads out of their wallets and gives patients quality care, not the cheapest they can find.

I am a 60 yr. old woman and was on simvastatin for several years before I realized that all of my aches, pains, and muscle weakness could be because of it. I stopped taking it in March, and had very little improvement until June when I started taking 100 mg CoQ10 twice a day. I am now pretty much pain free but the muscles in my thighs are still very weak, and I am still very fatigued. Anybody have any suggestions?
