It feels like someone has taken a blow dryer to my windpipe. Feels like small grains of sand are in my airway and I start coughing suddenly and VIOLENTLY.. Yes, people in public look at you and start stepping back like they think you have something like TB and are contagious. Sleeping is out of the question. Laying down starts the barking cough. I am glad to hear someone else has the issue with excess saliva. I thought I was imaging this - it's as if I am drinking saliva and I vomit up clear mucous - to the point that I was considering going to the ER to ask them to check me for lung cancer or something. I cough so fast and hard that I have started vomiting and because it occurs so fast, I have had to throw up in the trashcan by my desk (attractive!) and the doctors I work for have come running into my office to see if I was "coughing a lung up". My chest is sore sore from all the coughing. My bronchial tubes burn like someone has been scrubbing them with brillo pads. This drug is nasty. Steer clear. Ask for something else till you get it right and then lose weight/get in shape so you can stop taking all this crap. Like the saying goes: "If I'd known I was gonna live this long - I'd taken better care of myself."

I had a terrible cough.Constant and very dry and hacking. Making sleeping impossible. Working impossible. My life was turned to mush. The coughs were very heavy and causing my throat to swell and feel extremely dry no matter how much I drank.I developed acute tonsillitis. I needed antibiotics to clear up.I have a fever and was sicker than I can ever remember.I called the doctor and told her I never had any of the coughing until taking this med.then I read it is common. Why in the ---- would any doctor prescribe such a horrible drug.??
I have never had a heart attack and only had slight blood pressure issues. Sometimes it gets a bit high. Not often. Doctors are drug pushers for the pharma companies.I have no respect left for this doctor. And will never go back.

In all honesty Im terrified my parents made me get the shot i got it about 1 year ago completing the cycle of 3 shots and I am hoping to god i don't get any side effects. I am 15 years old and after my first gardasil shot i began my period I don't know if this was due to the shot or not at the time i was 13 so i just hope that they pull this vaccine from the market it is destroying peoples lives and IS NOT WORTH THE RISK! THERE IS LITTLE GAIN AND SO MUCH AT STAKE I ADVISE NO ONE TO RECEIVE THIS VACCINE NO MATTER WHAT YOUR DOCTOR SAYS PLEASE JUST WAIT UNTIL THEY HAVE MORE RESEARCH DONE ON THE VACCINE DON'T MAKE YOUR DAUGHTER GET THIS VACCINE IT MAY RUIN HER LIFE 30 YEARS FROM NOW JUST PLEASE, DON'T.

I have had a chronic dry cough for the past 5 years. Now they are saying I have whooping cough. I have been taking Clarithromyn ER TB 500 mg. the generic for Biaxin XL 500 mg. Last night I had to go to the ER. I felt like I was having a heart attack. I could not catch my breath, my left arm was tingling, kind of going numb. Also felt like I might pass out. On the way to the ER I was trembling, and very jittery. I felt very STRANGE!!!!!! The ER said it was just a panic attack. I have never had panic attacks!!! The past few day I have been telling my co-workers how I felt like my throat was closing up. I am calling the doctor today to see about not finishing my last 4 days of the medicine. I am glad I found this site to see that other people have experienced the same symptoms and I am not going crazy.

I am 19 year old male and was diagnosed with Epididymitis a couple of weeks ago. Prescribed 100mg Doxycycline HYC TB--taken twice daily for 10 days. Aside from the nausea and headaches, I have recently realized a tingling in my right calf. It has probably been feeling this way for about a week now. It feels numb and while there is no actual pain, it is quite uncomfortable
In addition, I recently developed a lump right under my right nipple. It's probably about an inch in diameter and feels as if it's a cyst.
Plus, Im not convinced my Epididymitis has totally gone away. There is still some very minor discomfort in that area.
Any similar side effects?

I get side effects too, but my horrible coughing is under control. I am prescribed one puff twice a day. I have cold sores in mouth and something on my gum, my dentist said it was a virus. Everything is so expensive.

I have been on Flomax for 10 months. Went to Mozambique in September and passed out while hunting. Thought it was because of lack of H2O but was well hydrated, ringing in ears has not stopped, itching and liver pain getting worse, 1-08. Went to the doctor and he said I had MS...give me a brake!!! I'm 55 and I've never had internal problems other than a little high blood pressure and a slow flow... Why do doctors ram this crap down our throats???? I'm taking myself off this crap...all I have read on this thread are things I have noticed since starting this witches brew!!!

I started taking this 10 mg lisinopril in September 2006. Unfortunately, I came down with a cold shortly thereafter. I developed a terrible cough, that has persisted until the present. I cough 8-10 times a day; the coughing fits are violent and always end with a gagging episode. I have been to several doctors about the cough; my primary physician is on a medical leave, so I have been shuttled around. Each doctor offers to prescribe a cough medicine. None of them ever suggested a link to the linisopril even though I told them I was on it. After reading these postings, I have stopped taking this drug. I had only borderline HBP, 134/90 and it has only gone down to 128/84. The side effects of this drug are horrible and it should only be given with great attention to these side effects. I am seeing the doctor tomorrow and will be changing the course of treatment. People at work say that I sound like I should be in a TB ward, which is true. I just can't believe I have put up with this for two months and not one doctor suggested a link. My life has revolved around the coughing.

I am taking Ciprofloxacin tab 500mg and Sulfamethx/trimeth DS TB. 2 x a day (morning and night) for 10 days. This is for CA-MRSA Staff Infection in ears and sores.
This is the 3 time I have taken it and so far all I have going on is I am very thirsty. I have read over the other posting and I surely hope I don't react like others have. I will keep this updated.

I recently was prescribed the sulfa type antibiotic, smz/tmp double str Tb MPC - and with one left to take, started to itch. I noticed small red bumps on the tops of my thighs, the underside of my arms and some on my belly - all of which have been itching.. So, I am using an Aveeno hydro cortisone. The chest cold/crusted eye syndrome I was experiencing for most of the month of Dec 2005..has now died away. It is the day after Christmas and I feel like I've been attacked by a swarm of mosquitoes. I will be sure never to take this again!

I am 26 years old. I've been on warfarin for almost eight years. I wish I had seen a site like this eight years ago when I started on warfarin (after DVT and P.E) I may have had some insight into the hellish two years that were to follow: hair-loss, depression, weight-gain. But I attributed all this to stress (it was pre-med varsity and I was under a lot of pressure academically).

But tonight I started thinking...could it be the warfarin?
Does anyone experience or know about possible side-effects of warfarin on the digestive system, and does anyone have some useful advice????
