After 9 months on Norvasc the symptoms intensified. Very dizzy, weak, nausea from spinning head, insomnia. Num feeling in left hand. Within 24 hours after stopping Norvasc the symptoms started to subside. The heaviness in the chest was there but I thought it was a bad heart. Tests show I have a health heart. I'm diabetic, no meds, and have high blood pressure, I also take Accupril for my blood pressure.

I have been taking Singulair for about two years now and I have been getting increasing fatigue so profound I have had to go from a 40 hour week to a 15-20 hour week. I have noticed increasing pain in my feet and legs which which affects my ability to stand and walk more each day. I also have stiffness in the ligaments of my hips, knees and feet. Medical tests show no arthritis in any of these areas. My memory is not as sharp and I have very restless sleep averaging 4-6 hours a night. My mind seems to be constantly running with thoughts and my concentration is gone out the window. After reading the the comments on this site, I am surely going to have my doctor change my medication to something else!

I started taking Lisinopril for my bp about 2 1/2 months ago and even though it did lower my bp, I started having strange side-effects. It started out with drowsiness throughout the day, no matter how much sleep I got. And, waking up feeling drowsy even after 8-10 hours of sleep. Then, I started getting strange aches and pains throughout my body, like I was getting over a stomach flu. My asthma also flared up and I started having to use my inhaler for the first time in almost 15 years (usually I just need it after exercise.) The side-effects continued to get worse over the next months with increased fatigue, drowsiness, coughing, anxiety, muscle aches, poor concentration, feeling like my nerves were "shot," headache, weakness, tightness in my lungs, numbness in my hands and feet, and just plain feeling bad.
I made an appointment to see my doctor because I thought there was something seriously wrong with me. It crossed my mind that I might be feeling this way because of the Lisinopril. I stumbled across this website and after reading everyone's testimonials, I decided to stop the Lisinopril. I haven't taken it in 3 1/2 days, and I am already feeling much better. I would rather try a more holistic approach to lowering my bp then taking Lisinopril.
I hope this helps someone else out there who might be going through the same thing.

Hello everyone,

I stopped taking Yasmin 5 weeks ago and have yet to see my period return. Before, I was always regular (30 days). In the past, I have stopped taking different pills and it always took awhile to get back to normal, but never this long. Pregnancy tests show negative. Any advice? Thanks!

I am a 47 year old male who had a heart attack in march of 1993. I have had angioplasty three times with stent implants during the last two procedure's. My primary care physician thought it would be to my benefit to take Zocor. I have been taking 20mg a day for the past 4 years. During the past few months I have been having pain in my right elbow and lack of strength in my arm. I also have been having a steady dull pain in my right leg which runs from my thigh down through my knee and calf. I have had liver function tests done once a year because of an earlier bout with hepatitis and alcohol abuse, but the tests show that my liver is working fine. Does this sound like it could be a side effect of the Zocr?

I am 55 yr old male with high BP, Some joint degeneration, high cholesterol. I have been on Zocor for 40 plus days. When I first started taking it, within hours of dosage I had mild headache, sinus stuffiness. Within days I had higher energy levels, less joint pain, and sleep better. My physical stamina has increased and I am able to be much more active with less physical stress and faster subsequent recovery. Follow up tests show my cholesterol dropped from 230 to 160. Continuing adverse side effects are mild burning sensation in back of throat about 1 hour after dosage and lasting about an hour. Change in taste. Both of these I can live with given the positive side effects and intended effect. Follow up tests have so far shown no impariment in liver function.
