I just started using the Teva Albuterol Sulfate HFA Inhaler three weeks ago, and have had breathing problems since the beginning of use. I have bronchitis, which is not getting better on antibiotics and am coughing up huge amounts of phlem. I am also hoarse and that is getting worse. I had only one or two puffs left of my older albuterol inhaler and had relief as long as that lasted. I have had headaches, nausea, stomach upset as well. This is a dangerous product.

In my previous message I was wondering why the same medication has to have so many different names.

I haven“t had a reply to that, but I found some information on Wikipedia that migth be helpful when looking for more information.

Zocor (=Simvastatin) can have many different names as you can see below.

"Brand names: Zocor, Zocor Heart Pro, marketed by the pharmaceutical company Merck & Co. and Denan (Germany), Liponorm, Sinvacor, Sivastin (Italy), Lipovas (Japan), Lodales (France), Zocord (Austria and Sweden), Zimstat, Simvahexal (Australia), Lipex (Australia and New Zealand), Simvastatin-Teva, Simvacor, Simvaxon, Simovil (Israel), Simvotin (India) and other."

I have been taking 20 mg Lisinopril for about one year. I work for a drug company (our company does not make Lisinopril). I do not know if these are connected or pure coincidences. I have lost about 6 pounds without going on a diet, sex drive goes in cycles (low to very high). I do not have ED, but the "quality" of erections is not what it used to be (maybe a sign of getting old).
The cough was never an issue when the generic was from Teva, however the last few refills have been from Ivax and that is when the cough started. It feels like someone is tickling your throat with spines and for the most part it is dry cough. Can different generic manufacturers be the problem?

Considering its excellent safety profile, I would be hesitant to switch medications just for the annoying cough. The drug works great (no morning flush or frequent pit stops)

I have been taking Lisinopril for many years and just about 6 months ago the dosage was doubled and was getting along pretty well until the pharmacy switched the mfg'er from Teva USA to IVAX - then the trouble began - my chest was tight like I was about to have a heart attack, enery level next to nothing, sleepy all the time, my lips were bright red with sores and burning - I felt and looked like a royal wreck. My husband didn't get those symptoms - he was dizzy after this change and felt like he would pass out - he drives otr so wasn't too exited to pass out while driving down the freeway -
called the pharmacy and they were so surprised because nobody ever has complained about any differences - they talked me into keeping my prescription but I am going to change this week to the Teva mfger and see how long it takes to get back to semi-normal.
