This site is the absolute life saver. I have had my mirena in for two years and am getting it out as sson as I post this I will call my GP. I ahve been sent for every test for every disease under the sun and have only now come to the conclustion that it is all the mirena. Numbness down my left side (I had tests for ms and other serious neurological disorders), abdominal pain, swelling, headaches blurry vision acne like I never had before not efven in my teens. The good thing was it stopped my period all together but now I now haow unatural that is. Thank goodness for all your posts. If I wan;t in Australia, I would be joining in the class action. I have lost two years to this thing with constant doctors and worry about more serious implications. I have had stress leave off owrk and all the time my GP has said it would not be the Mirena.

I took this drug for an infection and it was the worst thing that
I could have done to my body. I went to see a chiropractor for adjustments to my body and did acupuncture to help build my body back up. It has worked for the muscle aches, but the anxiety, tingling in the arms and insomnia is still there. I started taking Levaquin in May of this year and have been off the medicine for almost three and a half months. I'm in the hopes that I will continue to get better everyday. I want people to know that this is a nasty drug and do not take it no matter what!!!!!!

My dermatologist put me on Yaz a little less than 2 weeks ago for acne. I've been bleeding ever since! I'm really getting worried about it and have been debating calling my gyn to see what the deal is. Has anyone else bled like crazy with Yaz? How long did it take to stop? My flow is probably medium and bright red...with no signs of stopping at the moment. I also have had a horrible headache for about 3 days, can't sleep, have lower back pain, and feel extremely nauseated. This pill is horrible!

Hello ladies
I have been off the pill for three and a half months, and have been getting slowly better. My question is, why do I feel worse this month than I did last month? I keep thinking that I am getting better, but I feel like this month I have taken a bit of a step back. Has anyone else experienced this? When I was so sick in August (due to Yasmin) I thought I would for sure be back to 100% by December. Sadly, I do not feel like I am there yet, which scares me. For some reason I had the three month mark in my head, because a doctor told me that it takes about 3 months to have your hormones back to normal. Now I worry all the time about not getting better fast enough, which makes my anxiety spiral out of control. I am sure that my hormones were pretty messed up, like many of you have experienced, so I know that it takes time. However, I just cringe at having to wait a whole year to feel back to normal!

I know that many of you have heightened anxiety right around ovulation and menstruation. I am ovulating right now and have actually been experiencing anxiety since my last period. In my past two cycles, I only had it around menstruation and ovulation. Is there any explanation for this, or have any of you experienced taking a step back when you really thought you were nearly 100%? Please let me know! I am driving myself crazy with the anxiety of feeling abnormal.

I hope you all are doing well! I think of all of you often.
Best,
Erykah

I'm taking toprol-XL 100 mg. 1 time a day for high bp and fast heart rate. I would wake up some nights out of the blue with my heart beating so fast it feels like it was going to jump out of my chest.I'm also taking Benicar HCT for about three and a half months now. I have been very tired all the time, I also feel like something is in my chest sometimes. When breathing out I hear a rattling sound in my chest but can't cough to clear it up and I have gotten hoarse. sometimes I can be seating or lying down on the sofa and start to feel really bad all of a sudden for no reason and my pressure goes up really high. My pressure have not been stable since, it has even been low as 95/72. When it shoots up for no reason it is 163/113.I also have jumping in my fingers and muscles, Has anyone experience that.

I just started taking prednisone for my arthritis and will be on it no longer than 6 weeks, probably less than that. I start off taking four pills a day at 5mg, which is 20mg a day. I do this for 5 days and then reduce down to three and a half pills a day for the next five days. I keep decreasing after that. My question is will I get the moon face and gain a lot of weight off of this for as short a time as I am using it? I go back to the doctor in two and a half weeks and he hopes to take me off of it then. I am just really scared because I worked so hard to lose almost 30 pounds and I do not want to gain it back. Any advice would be helpful!

have been taking Atorvastatin for 5 months, prescribed by the hospital after I was hospitalised for 3 days following a minor stroke. I was prescribed 20mg which I took for about three and a half months. I felt dizzy a bit and believed this was side affects from my stroke. My cholesterol was 6.2 which is considered quite high. I decided to cut down the dose to 10 mg as I hate taking drugs of any kind and a friend of mine who has low thyroid like me ( we are both on thyroxine) told me that she had been told that one should not take statins with an under active thyroid. This is why I reduced the dose. Having found this website I am beggining to realise that the shoulder and neck pain that has developed over the last months and also an increase in the dryness to my eyes and a swollen finger joint - could all possibly be due to Atorvastatin. I have now stopped taking the drug -- my shoulders are just beginning to feel easier now , I await relief from my swollen painful finger-- will let you know results.
