Thursady symptoms and conditions

Hello all,

First of all, I am relieved to hear I am not alone in this. Second though, I'm sorry others are suffering this much! This is horrible. Besides the unpredictable bleeding and terrible cramping, I have been battling bacterial vaginosis for the last few months. I am convinced the mirena iud is the cause. On my last visit to the doctor on 5-13-09, he prescribed antibiotics yet again and said to "give it some time" and come back in August. That is when I am due for my annual exam. When I am on the antibiotics, the cramping, bleeding and discharge stop, but as soon as it's finished, it all starts again. Like a few other comments I've read, I too have no sex drive and am so dry, sex hurts sometimes. Please let me know if anyone else has experienced problems with BV with the mirena iud.
