Thx symptoms and conditions

I am in the process of downloading the form to report the side effects that I have been having with Mirena.
Maybe if enough of us file a report things will change.
I had an appointment today to have the Mirena removed. Go figure that the doctor would be out sick today.
I was rescheduled for next Thursday.
For those of you that have privately emailed me, I haven't forgotten about you and will respond shortly. Very busy here.

I am getting mine removed today and am nervous about if it will hurt or be any pain afterwards .... any input would be great. I have had the horrible discharge, cramps, fatigue, depression .. etc and am sooo excited to get it out ... just nervous about the pain. I guess I gave birth right !! LOL

I've been taking Quasense for about 5 months now in which I had changed from the nuva ring because it was beginning to cause abnormal pap smears but I had really loved the nuva ring. When I started Quasense, I basically had the same symptoms of the bleeding even after a month being on it, so much I bought a pregnancy test b/c my gyno kept telling me that it's normal to occur it that my body is just trying to regulate itself. I also am experiencing acne, in which when I was on NuvaRing my skin was beautiful! It has gotten a lot better with the breakthrough bleeding but gosh, look how long it took! I still have little to none spotting( the brownish stuff). The most serious side effect that I have noticed in this 5th month of taking it is that I have become real melancholy. So much that I've even had suicidal thoughts and I'm generally a happy go lucky person. If I feel like I've hurt someone's feelings, it's like I get so depressed! Usually I would feel like, okay, let me apologize and then life goes on, but I think Quasense makes me so sensitive that I dwell and dwell on small issues to where it's like the end of the world! I've never felt so down in my life and that's what made me think about researching the side effects of it, and I found this website. Also, after intercourse with my b/f , I have severe burning, in which I never experienced and I figured it was from the Quasense pill because I've noticed it makes me have vaginal dryness. I mean who wants that at age 33, I'm not ready for menopause yet! I'm considering switching to something else, I just don't want to have to go through crazy side effects to achieve the same goal. Thanx for creating this website, for now I know I'm not the only one experiencing these side effects.

Just an update about the class action suit discussed previously, and Aamaya had provided us with the Florida attorney, Justin Wikin: I got a letter in the mail yesterday stating that they would not be pursuing suit against them. They said that they deal mainly with wrongful death cases and it does not mean that the case does not have merit, just that it is not their specialty. I will be doing some research here locally in Ohio to see if I can locate a practice to pursue this. If anyone comes up with something, please let us all know.

Hey Thx for the great posts..I am 23 yrs; got my Mirena last month on the 18th. When I last felt the strands it was way too deep...but today morning i can practically feel the strands outside......Is this normal?

hi started my topamax 25 mg at bedtime i take it for migranes been top for 3 weeks now i have noticed side effects however iam taking other meds and im having trouble distinguishing which side effect goes with what lol ..e.g.. paxil for anxiety , panic attacks and HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE for borderline blood pressure , i have experienced the tingling in the hands and the feet ..lack of appt,i wouldn't say my desire for sex is gone but im experiencing vaginal dryness and itching and numbness as well as problems climaxing sorry tmi lol ... thought it was a yeast infection but its kinda different? any girls ever exp that before while on top? im getting scared now reading the post about loss of hair im already very thin and have little hair as it is any help or suggestions would be great thx ...

hello i am on leviquin & someone said not to take milk or yogert while on this medication is that true..said it will kill the effect of the medicine. ? thx

Not really sure of any side effects until reading some of the other postings. I am 33yrs old and have been on lipitor 20mg for about 3yrs, because my body will not make acceptable levels of good cholesterol. Anyone else heard of being put on lipitor for this reason? Any commoents would be greatly appreciated.Thx.

my wife got 2 kenalog injections she gained 20 lbs she has been bleeding staining for 5 weeks she feels terrible depressed she does not know what to do how long does it last and when she will feel better if anyone knows please email me a concerned husband thx gary

Hey, new to the forum but glad I found it....

On pred. for over a year now and have most of the awful side effects but now a new one and wanted to see if this is common for all? Started with horrible swelling in hands, feet/ankles a couple of weeks ago; it's massively uncomfortable. Is this a "normal" side effect of the pred?

I am in the third week of my first time with Yasmin. After taking loestin for 3 wonderful years of PMS free life, it stoped working so the mid-wives suggested this. So far my major complaint is the breast swelling and tenderness, already a D-cup, don't want to go back to nursing size. Also,fleeting but blinding headaches behind my left eye...someone please tell me this goes away eventually....thx!
