I have used Lipitor and/or other satins for many years. I had to get off a generic a year ago and went back to Lipitor. I believe it caused my tinnitus and muscle and nerve issues all over my body. I recently stopped taking it and now 4 weeks later I am getting some relief. I did find something that has really lowered my triglycerides and my cholesterol. It is a brand new diet supplement that contains a new source of omega 3 and antioxidants. contact me and I will give more info on this wonderful all natural wellness product. It really helped me.

The reason is when you stop taking the Lipitor, and your symptoms don't go away is this: Lipitor cause hearing loss, which is what causes the Tinnitus! I have been having severe tinnitus for months now, seen all kinds of Dr.s who didn't have a clue. And I finally went to the House Ear Clinic, and they told me what it was, but they didn't know how I got it. I got Tinnitus a few months after my Dr. upped my dose. It's taken me this long to put the puzzle together. The Physician's Desk Reference lists hearing loss, tinnitus, and dizziness as side effects of Lipitor. I am appalled that not one Dr. asked me what kind of medication I was taking!

Severe and continuing pain in arms (particularly inside elbows), shoulder joint, neck, legs (especially behind knees), ankles and feet. Also tinnitis
Have tried NSAIDS, tylenol without much help. Heat seems to help a little. Exercise definitely makes it worse
Symptoms started on last day of course of treatment with Levaquin

I seem to have very frequent ringing in the ears (tinnitis) and rather constant feelings of being fatiqued. I have been light headed at various times when suddenlystanding up or during moderate physical work outs at the fitness center. Also I seem to have an on going upper respiratory congestion and coughing that's on going. I seriously doubt that I'll continue this med if things don't improve in the next 7days.

This is my second Rx for this stuff, only 250 mg., but I'd hate to see what would happen with a stronger dose! I was given this Rx to prevent infection after oral surgery. Within hours of taking it, that familiar itchy, burning sinus sensation started. I took an antibiotic to give me a sinus infection?? I already have tinnitis, and it is worse than usual. I feel awful with this stuff. I will tell my doctor that I will NOT take it again.

Although the docs don't seem to tell you, if you read the flyer that comes with the doxycycline you will see you are supposed to take it after food, with 12 ounces of water and not lie down for an hour. Why the prescriber doesn't tell you this vital stuff is beyond me. I am having tinnitis with it. My doc gave me some protonix (pantoprazole sodium) to take with the doxy because I had a previous bad stomach reaction. This seems to be working so far. Lymes symptoms have gotten dramatically better.

I have severe dizziness and nausea! I have been bruising easily ever since I began takig it years ago! I get pains in my legs, as well. I am stopping as of TONIGHT!!! Thank you to you all for sharing your side effects. I now understand more clearly where all of this weird stuff is coming from!! Be blessed!

Lisinopril works! I have been taking 5mg three times a day for years. No side effects. The Dr. told me to take 15mg once a day. Is this a time released tablet? I am 77 years old and a diabetic. I test my blood sugar 6X a day. This way I can control what I eat. Sugar problem was diagnosed 5 years ago with levels running from 40-385. I was depressed & worried about my health. This drug resolved the problem. My best advice is talk to your Dr. and your pharmacist. Friends, family & neighbors mean well. Consider the source!
