Traces symptoms and conditions

i started taking toprol about 2 years ago. my doctor started to notice a trace of blood and a small amount of protein in my urine. after a few more urine test over the span of 2 years, the traces of blood would come and go, but the protein levels were rising. eventually i was sent to a kidney specialist. he immediately took me off the toprol. he believes that the toprol may have damaged a filter that goes to both kidneys.he also said that if proteins are getting through the filter there other stuff is getting through too. , which can cause problems in the future.i have an appointment to see him again in 2 months. hopefully not being on this drug anymore, there will be a chance that this filter will heal. if not we are talking biopsies, and kidney drugs. my entire life the only medical problem was my blood pressure, now because of doctors and drugs i may be the sickest i've ever been. somebody said thts why doctors call it a practice, there only practicing

When taking morphine sulfate SR for lower back pain, taking urine tests will show traces of methadone. Try explaining you don't to your doctor!

I originally posted my problems in January. My biggest issue: migraines. I had my Mirena removed March 13. According to my doctor, I am an exception. Most people have no issues with the Mirena. That was it. She predicted that I would have a period within 2-4 weeks. The removal wasn't so bad. I felt "scratched" inside. A little crampy that day. But nothing I couldn't deal with. The next day, I had some minor bleeding. And energy you wouldn't believe. I couldn't sit down. I was almost jittery. The following day, lots of bleeding with lots of clotting and cramping that lasted for a week. I've had traces of blood on and off ever since. I wouldn't say that I'm back to normal yet. I'm still moody. There is some sex drive though. My husband is thrilled about that. It has to get better from here. Our issue now is that we are not on birth control. I can't take the pill. I guess condoms will be the thing! Good luck to all of you. Remember that you know your body better than anyone else. Medications work differently for each person. Maybe I am an exception. But there seems to be a lot of us!

I went to the doctor complaining of a mild headache and being nauseous. After 5 days of taking this medicine (Sulfameth Trimethoprim) I am feeling 100% WORSE! This medicine has caused me to feel nauseous, moody, have severe headaches, loss of appetite, and my food all tastes like it has traces of lead in it. I was also prescribed Pseudovent along with a medicine to treat any yeast infection that might come as a side effect from the Sulfameth Trimethoprim. I am going to stop taking these medicines because I feel really bad. I wouldn't advise anyone to take these w/out seriously questioning your doctor about their side effects and any other options. I'll stick with Mucinex for any congestion and Tylenol Cold and Flu for those symptons.

I am on my 10th day on Neurontin at 300mg OD for a severe cervical muscle pain, the pain did go away but... at first the only noticeable side effects were drowsiness especially in the AM, loss of coordination. But a few days later, the numbness on my lower extremities was noticed as well as moderate to severe headache more on the frontal area and arthralgia (joint pains). I also had episodes of irregular heart beats so I had to be put on Betablocker. The dosage was not that big, but anyway, patient's response varies individually. This will be my last day of Neurontin. I hope my body will eliminate all the traces of this drug.

Took welchol for about two months and began having crampy sensations in lower abdomen and then stools with traces of bloody mucus. Went off welchol and after a month the cramping, etc., went away. Went back on Welchol and after several weeks it came back. Anyone else had this happen?
