Tranexamic acid symptoms and conditions

I had the shot for my hayfever in June this year. I week later i started menstrual bleeding and haven't really stopped since. Combined with this i have felt weak, lethargic and depressed.

I saw a guyno and told her about the kenalog. she looked it up in the book and it didn't say that disruption of menstual cycles was a side effect. She then asked a reumatoid specialist who said it was abolsutely a very common side effect of Kenalog and that either heavy / irregular bleeding could occur or no bleeding at all. It is a very strong dose of steroids that they use for severe relief of pain. The bleeding should pass one the steroid injection wears off (3 months) and i have been given some medication to stop the bleeding until then (tranexamic Acid Tabs igm?)

I told the consultants about websites such as this and she said that she would write to the drug company as they would then have to include it as a side effect legally. I hope this is the case.

I can't believe i've been through all this - i would prefer to have my allergies frankly!
