Trapped gas symptoms and conditions

Incredibly painful gas. I only took 2 pills, one on Friday, woke up gassy but didn't connect the two, had an unpleasant trip to the washroom. I took another dose on Saturday and woke up with more gas Sunday morning. by Sunday afternoon i was in a lot of pain shooting through my abdomen, in my back and chest. it is now Tuesday and i missed work Monday and today because the only way i can relieve the pain is by laying down. when i wake up in the morning i'm fine and then it just gets worse by the minute. i can be up for a bit but then i need to lie down again. it feels like trapped gas. i have taken pepto bismol and oval and eaten prunes and nothing seems to help. also, i haven't had a bowel movement since Saturday and i don't feel like i need to, though i'm usually like clockwork, every morning after my coffee.
i called the pharmacy and they were of little help, i'm going to try a laxative today just to see if that helps move stuff if it's stuck, who knows.

Have been taking zantac 300 for about two weeks. At the beginning, took it in the mornings but fatigue was so extreme that I had to switch to taking it at night. Started waking with extreme breathlessness and stomach cramps, which I didn't tie in with the tablets. Two weeks later, stomach cramps (stomach and centre abdomen) are getting increasingly worse. I've also had increased anxiety, a trapped gas feeling in entire abdomen, I burp constantly but the burps don't relieve me and I feel breathless and very panicky with them and I also feel that I am full up to my eyeballs, even after the smallest amount of food. I've lost my appetite even more (something I didn't think was possible considering how little I was eating). My joints and muscles ache. But the reason I'm going to stop taking this tonight is the unbearable stomach pain, I'm hoping the Zantac is the reason for this ... the ulcer pain that I had prior to starting Zantac was more bearable, I think I'll stick to antacids.

Hair thinning anyone? blurr vision ? confusion daily? cramping and aches and pains all over ? headaches ? dry mouth? ringing of ears? dry eyes when waking up ? cant sleep and nightmares? short term memory loss ? upset stomach tummy aches? itching all over ? gas and trapped gas ? tired -no get up and go, and when you do get up and go, you cant ! for long? waight gain of 8 to 10 pounds ? cant loose waight - ? sore inside of nose ,with running nose ?
anyone got these symptoms. im on 200mg toprol xl per day with 40mg diovan . I also get intermitten palpatations .
b.p is down to almost normal now, but I feel the walking dead
here..with all the side effects - im seeing a cardiolgest in a few days ! cant take it anymore side effects ! I dont feel normal anymore.. what is normal ?

After being prescribed Cipro on 10-27-2005, on 10-29-2005 I started getting severe pains in my stomach. I first thought it was trapped gas but i felt no moving gas in my stomach. After a few hours it subsided. That night I took my evening dose and 2 hours later, the pain in my stomach came back more severe than earlier that day.

It was so bad I almost went to the emergency room. I pulled out the leaflet from the med. and it said that abdominal pain was a side effect. This was like having contractions!!!!

It took 5 hours for it to go away. I was very nauseated along with the pain.

This morning my stomach is sore to the touch.

I stopped taking it and will be calling my doctor on Monday!!

I took 10Mg for about 1 month. After one and a half weeks I was at the doctor for diareah. He blamed it on a "bug". That subsided but I had two to three bowel movements per day! Then started the stomache cramps and horrible trapped gas. When I go my refill for month 2 I read the literature that stated these symptoms. I stopped taking it that day and the problems went away. Of course my blood pressure is heading back up and the head aches I had previously are returning.
