I was on Yasmin for 5 years. In Sept. 07 I stopped taking it because I was having breakthrough bleeding which was very strange for me. We decided it was also time to try for our first baby. I thought my experience while on Yasmin was bad, but things only got worse after stopping it. I have been off for 5 months now and have many symptoms and no pregnancy. Including nausea, the worse cramping ever, very bad moodness, and the worse one of all - my periods are 45 days apart, and when your trying to conceive that is not a good thing. I do blame the Yasmin pills because before I went on B/C I had very normal 28 day cycles. If your planning on wanting to get pregnant someday, my advice to you is stop taking the pill long before you really want to get pregnant, and use back up protection, because it could take a while for your body to adjust to it, and it's heartbreaking if you are trying to get pregnant.

I had my first Kenalog shot on August 31st for seasonal allergies. The doctor didn't explain any side effects they just gave me the shot and sent me on my way...since then i started spotting 2 weeks before my period was due. My husband and i have been trying to concieve for awhile with no luck and at first i was thinking it was implantaion bleeding or an early miscarriage...but after reading this site i think it's safe to say that the Kenalog is to blame for my problems as well...allthough it did clear up my allergies five days after the shot...i will NEVER get this shot again! The least they could have done was warn us about the side effects. Other then this "spotting" i havn't experience any other side effects but it has only been a little over 2 weeks since i recieved the shot.

A couple days after the second kenalog and novacain shot, to treat an elbow injury, In developed a rash it took weeks to have it go away the doctor didn't talk to me about the side affects of that particular drug at all just said it was a run of the mill cortizone shot. We are also trying to concieve, and had to wait due to this injury and all the meds to treat it. Now after the rash starts to disappear My period won't stop I had my peroid for 33 days straight went to the doctor and they had no idea what was causing it. They said that if it didn't stop in a couple months that they would do another pap. ( i just had one done in sept everything normal). Then I found this site!
How irresponsible that they don't tell women about this ! I will be contacting my doctor right away! Thank you all for posting!
