Trying to explain symptoms and conditions

I've been trying to find out if NuvaRing can cause Pelvic Inflammation. I've never had a problem with sex being painful,but since I started the Ring, Sex is so painful that I hate it. Nothing else has changed, I've only been with my husband, so the only thing I can think of is that it's the ring. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I have been between 110 - 115 lbs most of my adult life. I tried everything to gain weight, but it didn't work. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease when I was pregnant with my son. I took PTU for the duration of the pregnancy. I was symptom free for about 4 years. About two years ago, I started to experience symptoms related to Graves Disease. I saw an Endo doctor who told me that I have a non-cancerous goiter that needed to be removed. I have thyroid surgery 8 months ago. I started taking Synthroid shortly thereafter. I have been trying to explain my symptoms of Hair Lost, Dry skin and nails, Insomnia, weight lost, lost of appetite, and leg cramps to someone for 6 months. Nobody listens. They just discount my symptoms. Today I decided to do some research to find out if I was alone. I AM NOT ALONE. I've been taking Synthroid for 8 months. My hair is so thin that you can see my scalp. Combing my hair makes me upset because I have chunks of hair in the comb. I too called my doctor and he replied,"I can't believe that your symptoms are related to your synthroid use." Reading these articles helped to prepare me for his responses. I insisted that I didn't want to take Synthroid anymore. He ordered blood work and advised that I have to continue taking this medication. I don't want to feel this way for the rest of my life. I have a 6 years old son who is full of life. I don't have the energy to keep up sometimes. I felt better before my Thyroid Surgery. (34 years old Woman, post Thyroid Surgery for an Enlarged Goiter and Hyperthyroidism). Where is the support????

I've been on Topamax for about 8 months now. I lost about 15lbs, but I didn't need to lose weight...and it keeps coming off. I can't drink carbonated drinks and my feet fall asleep. The worst is getting stuck on my words. I work in Real Estate and when I'm trying to explain a contract to a client, I feel stupid when I can't think of the words I need to say.....I know what I need to say, but it doesn't come out....FRUSTRATING!!!!! I also see trails, kinda like I'm on a weird trip or something. And when my daughter's kindergarten teacher asks me to help with something, she has to explain it to me a couple of times.....I just can't get it. Maybe they should call it Dopamax. Oh yeah, I take 200mg/day.

Ok! I've been on this pill for 4 days now and I feel like I"m breathing fire. I finally got some rest after an entire day of migraine severe bitchiness, and now am happy I finally get to toss this freakin pack. (The fire breathing feeling comes from feeling HEAT all day, especially the throat area). For all you ladies that this pill worked wonders for, I'm glad it's all working out for you. I just happen to not be one of them.

The worst is trying to explain to your boyfriend, "i'm so lethargic, I feel down, I got enough sleep and I still can't seem to get out of bed, I think it may be the pills I'm taking" and being made to feel like it was all in your mind. Thanks to all the women on this board who posted, otherwise I wouldnt' have known. Thank you!!

Another symptom I experienced after 4 short days was blurry vision, and dizziness. And a whole heck of a lot of gas, which was kinda enjoyable. but the others are not acceptable.

the point of this is, the last few days were mental hell. I'm gonna take care of my body & make him wear condoms if he has to.
