One additional comment: There is the possibility that because the drug has generally been prescribed the rate of incidence of suicide or attempted suicide has been minimal. The problem however is that drugs like Zyrtec (also producing similar side effects) have recently gone over-the-counter. There is always the possibility that as we see these types of drugs go over the counter - the rate of incidence will increase with the population self-medicating.

I have been on the ring for 4 months now. After using it for about a month I became depressed and angry. Often being verbally abusinve with my boyfriend and my mom for things that werent their fault. I have spent so much time thinking about why...why am I so unhappy when I have a wonderful boyfriend, a great mom, and a daughter that I ADORE!!!! I have a good job, a decent car, friends, love...there was no reason I shouldnt be happy. Worse than that-- I have no sexual desire at all, and it irrates me so bad when my boyfriend touches me. Which is definietly hurting our relationship! I have been considering seeing a doctor about getting some type of prescription for my emotional instability (even though I am very against those types of drugs.) Two weeks ago it was time to take my ring out. I took it out and when I called my pharmacist I didn't have any refills. So I have been without it for 2 weeks and I feel SO MUCH BETTER!!! My sexual desire is returning and instead of fighting all day, me and my boyfriend are getting along much better. I don't feel 100% back to normal, but I am hoping to get there soon!! Relieve yourself...throw the ring away!!!

I am 34, female, and started taking Singulair since three week ago due to allergies. Since last weekend I have been feeling terrible, with dizziness, nausea, and fatigue. I thought that maybe my sinus infection was not totally gone, but today my husband told me that maybe some of the medication I am taking is making me have those symptoms. He started doing some research online and found lots of information about Singulair side effects.

Now I can see that many people have been having different side effects.
I wish Doctors would be a little bit more informative about side effects symptoms. I won't take any more singulair and hopefully I will start feeling GOOD AGAIN! :o). I wish we wouldn't have to be trying SO MANY TYPES OF DRUGS!

I've been taking Lisinopril for 5 years for moderate hypertension. I'm now 40 years old.

Given the side effects of the drug and my high / normal pressure (typically 140/90 or less without the drug), I decided to quit the drug and try to lose weight (among other things).

Seven days after going off, I am experiencing angioedema - hives with sub-tissue swelling - including last night my bottom lip becoming 4X it's normal size.

I found a source that showed 1 in 100 users of these types of drugs experience angioedema, but I've found nothing that suggests those who quit using it have to go through this.

Anyone had a similar experience?

i have suffered from severe leg and feet pains getting progressively worse the pain kept me awake every night and i had great difficulty walking and even buying shoes was a nightmare because they all hurt.my doctor gave me all kinds of anti inflamitory and other types of drugs for pain, all to no avail. I have been taking lipitor for a few years. Last year somebody mentioned to me about leg pain from lipitor but i did not take much notice. Two weeks ago I just remembered about it and decided to stop taking them and see what happened, after a couple of days my legs have certainly improved I still have pain but nothing like it was and i have not had a sleepless night since stopping the tablets. I am still afraid to believe that this improvement is permanent so I decided to try the internet for information about these drugs and I am absolutely flabbergasted to find that other people are suffering in the same way as myself. Now i think I may have found the answer to my problem and I wonder will the pains improve more or will I be left with some permanent damage as I still have quite a lot of pain although not near as bad as before.

I hope many people read this. I was treated for endometriosis at age 29, 1995 with 6 months of lupron injections. yes, it may have gotten rid of some of the problems like period cramps, but I have developed permanent memory loss; my short term memory is shot; I had the worst depression during those 6 months. The thing that bothers me the most is that 11 years later, I still have memory issues. I wish I had known back then that the medication was not even FDA approved for infertility.

I took one 500MG dose of Levaquin 2 months ago and I had stabbing pains in both of my shoulders because of it. To this day both of my shoulders still ache horribly. You can stop taking Levaquin and most of us on this board would agree that you should stop taking it. If you are having this type of reaction now imagine what you will feel like at the end of the perscription. Have your doctor prescribe something else that is not a flouroquinolone. You do not want the damage that comes along with these types of drugs.

This drug is the devil! I have typically been very tolerable to different types of drugs, but all that changed with Levaquin. I felt fine for the first day or so and then one morning at work I developed a headache. This quickly developed into a racing heart, the shakes, inability to concentrate and finally the WORST feeling of depression I've EVER experienced! I honestly thought I was losing my mind! Luckily I foiund this site! For most of the next 24 hours I felt the way one might feel minutes before giving a presentation in front of hundres of people -- almost like a state of panic. It was miserable! I've never been one to post messages, but I'm doing this in hopes that it helps someone else.
