Ive been taking this for almost 3 months im about to take my first placebo pills in 4 days. the first month was amazing, i had no problems and my boobs even got a little bigger which made me happy. Around the 2nd half of the 2nd month i started getting the brownish discharge and i have it every day...i don't have any problems with sex drive..and the discharge doesn't bother my husband because it seems to go away until a few hours after we have sex and it never seems to get heavier. Ive always been a little underweight no matter how much i scarfed down everyday.. and i gained a few pounds so i look much healthier. I used to take ortho-tricyclen lo and i had pretty bad mood swings and they seem to be about the same now..so maybe im just naturally a moody bitch sometimes. Im going to keep taking this for at least the rest of the year until i either balance out and get better or something gets worse and i cant take it anymore.

I started taking this crap when I first went to college. I hate that it ruined 2 years of my life. I am still struggling. I cant even explain to you the anxiety I had. In highschool I was so outgoing and I loved people and I had alot of friends. I didnt make one friend in college and I stayed Isolated, i even stayed away from my boyfriend. I put on weight. I then became OCD about losing it. I became anorexic and I was 20 lbs underweight. I got on anti-anxiety and anti-depressants. It was the worst time of my life. I hated everything and everyone. I got off yasmin before I knew about all of this. I feel better now. I still have my days but it is getting better. I WISH I COULD MURDER THE OBGYN THAT GAVE ME THIS SHIT. I hope the best for all of you, and if u dont want to be a crazy hag and lose all everyone that means something to you, i suggest you get off this pill.

I went on Apri almost a year ago and had no weight gain, no breakthrough bleeding, virtually no side effects until this summer. I started having anxiety and panic attacks during my spring semester (I'm now a senior in college) and although I usually deal with stress pretty well, I thought that it was just because I was having a rough semester.
But in the past two months I've had a consistent nervous stomach and I've lost almost 15lbs from not being able to eat as much (not a good thing, I'm already a little underweight for my height). I started to have mood swings and that led straight into depression, so bad that even on vacation in Aruba I cried almost every day and night. I felt pathetic and anti-social and angry and basically scared that I'd never come out of this "phase." I called a therapist but couldn't even follow through with that. Then last week I went to the emergency room for severe stomach pain and they did some bloodwork and sent me home because "nothing was wrong." I'm also breaking out, which hasn't happened since I was like 15. Finally I went to a gyno who said this could all be side effects from the pill. If that's true than this all could have been prevented, and that upsets me greatly, but I also feel relieved that this might be over soon.
Everyone is different but if anyone is feeling things like this on Apri, see a doctor because it might be as simple as changing the pill or going off of it completely, which I plan on doing asap. Sorry but using condoms is better than being physically and mentally unstable.

I was on Yutopar in my 27th week of pregnancy. Had seriopus problems - racing heartbeat, shaky hands. Needed 1 - 2 hours to overcome these. Stopped taking at 34 weeks. Baby born pre-term at 35 1/2 weeks. She is extremely underweight - 16 years old, 5 ft 5 inches, only 36 kg. As a child, she was temperemental, still is. Eyesight was affected slightly at birth. Very quiet, cannot open up to people easily. Wonder whether it is because of yutopar. Otherwise, above average student.

I started to take lisonopril six weeks ago after my surgery. When I ask my pharmacist about the side effects he tells me to ask my doctor. When I ask my doctor he tells me to ask my pharmacists. I think that especially doctors do not know about all the side effects because they do not have the time to read them all. The FDA approved so it must be good. How can I convince my doctor that the Lisonopril cause extreme tiredness, lack of energy, stomach pain, heart burn, weak and painful legs, insomnia, and some of the other simptoms that most of the takers on your website have? Since I am taking it in six weeks I lost 26 pounds that I can not afford, being an underweight person, and regardless what I do I can not gain an ounce back. Could somebody have a suggestion.

I've had 3 births. All premature births. My first I didn't take Yotopar, but he was born 6 wks early, 3lb 13 oz. No defects. My next 2 I took Yotopar and both have shown signs of learning disabilities (my youngest is in special education). My youngest is the one I took the most and longest amount of Yutopar. They were both still premature and underweight. I've suspected the Yotopar caused these negative side effects for a long time, but after reading these testomonials, I am positive.

I have been using Nuvaring for 5 months. It took me a while to realize that it caused all the problems I've had recently:
Migraine headaches
Nausea
Insomnia. I woke up every night for 2-3 hours. I have never had any sleep problems until using Nuvaring.
Agressivity. Friends describes me as someone patient, calm and suddenly I became mad a teveryone
Cramps durong periods
Weight loss (I'm slightly underweight, and do not need or want to loose weight)
loss of libido
I'm probably forgetting some as there are so many..
I took the ring out 2 weeks ago and already feel better, and I can sleep

I am normally a very patient and kind individual. Immediately after beginning treatment with the 250/50 diskus, I became very aggressive and nearly violent. Had terrible time trying to sleep, and this only added to the continual sense of frustration.
My eyes are always red, and my vision has become blurry. I have cut the dose in half (only one puff per day) but symtoms do not seem to have decreased. I am 34 years old and have never breathed this freely in my life. I have always had to carry an albuteral inhaler with me, and used it several times a day. Now, I couldn't even tell you where it is!
I am going to try taking it only one puff every other day and see if I can deal with the symtoms that remain. I have always been underweight, so I am actually enjoying the increased appetite. However, I have not as yet seen any significant weight gain.

I started taking Aviane approximately 3 weeks ago because of my irregular menstrual cycle. I'm only 17, and since I was relatively healthy, my family doctor told me that there would be no serious side-effects. About 2 weeks into the pills, I started to experience shortness of breath and a constant pressure on my chest, near my thyroid gland. A few days ago, I had gone numb on one side of my body and lost some circulation to my right arm. Just last night, I was admitted into the emergency room because I had trouble breathing, nausea, tightness in my chest, dry throat/hard to swallow, tremors, near blackouts, fatigue, dizziness, weakness in my limbs, and heart palpations. They took tests and said all of them came back negative, but they still want me to check up with my family doctor soon. Apparently it was an allergic reaction to the chemicals in Aviane, but since estrogen and progesterone are natural hormones found in the body, I wasn't so sure. I had a fever last night, and my body could not stop shaking. We've contacted a few nurses, and they suggest I might be experiencing some of the side-effects of Aviane as well as a possibility of a viral infection. I don't think the benefits of Aviane are really worth it. I've been spotting ever since I started; my appetite increased along with my weight (I'm a bit underweight though so it's not that much of a problem); and obvious mood swings. I doubt many people will react to Aviane the same way as me, but it's very possible. So make sure you talk to your doctor about any possible side-effects and make sure you really want to start taking them. I haven't tried any other brands of the Pill, but I don't think I'm going to be starting any again anytime soon.
