I was put on Femcom FE due to a cyst on my ovary, and irregular bleeding. The first week I had an upset tummy every morning, could barely brush my teeth without almost puking. I was tired, and basically feeling typical pregnancy symptoms. But after that things were fine until I reached the end of the pack. I was told by my doctor not take the sugar pills so my body would absorb the cyst. I have been spotting for 12 days and it's just annoying. It's very light, but I'd rather have a miserable 5 day period than this. It doesn't look like it's going to stop either. No pain at all, just constant spotting from bright red to dark brown in color.

MY 13 YR OLD DAUGHTER WAS PUT ON SULFAMETH FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A SPIDER BIGHT, THE DOC CALLED IT MRSA. SHE HAD UPSET TUMMY RIGHT AWAY AND AFTER THE 3RD DOSE SHE WAS WITHDRAWN, SICK TO HER STOMACH, NO APPETITE, AND OVERLY TIRED...AND FATIGUE...THRU THE TOP. I TOOK HER OFF OF IT RIGHT AWAY. AWFUL STUFF, I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST IT FOR ANYONE.

hi jamie11477.
make a note of your levels you can then keep an eye on it over the next year. ask if you can have your free levels checked too,it just gives you a good base for future comparisons. i am also really struggling with weight gain, i have gained 2.5 stones since i stopped yasmin but to be fair when i was on it i could hardly eat a thing as i was so ill both physically and mentally. i could not eat sugars or carbs as they sent my heart racing...that doesn't happen now so i have to take some responsibility for the weight although it is definately disproportionate to the amount i eat. i seem to gain 4 pounds in a week sometimes without eating anything bad at all. i have read up on low progesterone levels, that can lead to weight gain especially round the middle which is where mine is. as i said in my earlier post i am going to up my dose of vitex (at the moment i am only taking a quarter of the dose recommended on the bottle as i am still a little worried about messing with my hormones as i know my anxiety was triggered by messing with my hormones! i also seem to have a really sensitive stomach and most things give me an upset tummy.

I have had to use Prednisone off and on since the 80's for flamation of the lungs when I get a cold. I didn't use it too much, however, until this last year and can't seem to get off of it. I need to finalize reconstructive surgery and have to keep postponing it due to the fact, I can't seem to get off the drug. My surgeron will not operate while on it. He says I need to be off 4 to 6 weeks. I had been off two weeks, when I got sick again last week w/a fever, upset tummy and chest discomfort. My lower legs are also very weak, which they were back in Dec. when I was sick. My pulmonary doesn't know why the leg weakness, but everything I read says Prednisone can cause weakness. I have asthma also.

Strattera has really helped me with my concentration and focus. At first, I had side effects such as nausea (upset tummy) and loss of appetite. That has really helped me lose some weight, cause I use to weigh 262 pounds and now I weigh 165 pounds. So I went from being morbidly obese to being almost at a normal weight.
