Urine infection symptoms and conditions

I am male aged 30. I took Doxycycline for Urine Infection, I stopped taking these after 11 days, because of the severe Hot Flushes and night Sweats. Its been 2 weeks now I'm off these capsules and I am still suffering Hot Flushes.

I hope I get better soon, It seems that this medicine has affected by testerone levels and testes (they have shrunk), and is giving me women menopause type side effects.

Has any body else have these effects, and got better after stopping these ?

My dad(67yrs) is using flomax for the past 2 years or so for enlarged prostate.
He got terrible urine infection 1 month ago.Now he got paralytic attack.
Will it be due to Flomax ?.Any help is greatly appreciated

65 year-old female. Severe headache subsided after first day on macrobid; loss of appetite but despite 300-800 daily calories for 10 days, no weight loss (Still 168.5 lbs.); razor blade feeling in vagina is the worst symptom; weak legs; shortness of breath.
Urologist's PA put me on macrobid for 14 days when she saw cloudy urine. Following week uriinalysis revealed no infection. Dr. cancelled macrobid on day 13. That was a full week ago. Razor blades and shortness of breath persist. Years ago a GYN recommended inserting plain vanilla yogurt for razor blade feeling with yeast infection anti-biotics. It has given some relief, if you don't mind tiny bugs and little dogs following you around!
Only now did I research urine infection test strips to learn I could have bought them myself and learned whether I had an infection immediately. I'm allergie to every anti-biotic.(Can't breathe.) I've had good results with macrobid prescribed for a few days in the past. I never want to take it again.

my dr. prescribed me 500mg levaquin for urine infection for 10 days. after taking second one I had terrible heart burn, which lasted for four hours. I called my Dr, but I was asked to continue. I took my third today, immediately after taking it I had terrible chest pain (heart burn) again. it lasted for about three hours. Now, I am scared taking next tomorrow.

horrible drug, i took to treat a urine infection, felt sick, headache, chills and i fainted. wont take it again.

Ive been prescribed 250 mg of Levaquin for 9 days to treat a urine infection. The symptoms Ive experienced are diarreah, upset stomach and sore muscles. The pain is very slight and certainly tolerable. Other antibiotics Ive tried in the past usually cause similar symptoms including nausea so Im satistied with Levaquin.
