Urs symptoms and conditions

I have only had Mirena for 2 weeks. However, I am already feeling bloated and have had severe cramping (can't even stand straight up)! I had to stop in the middle of having sex last night because of sharp pains I was having internally as well as in my lower abdomen. If this pain doesn't go away I will have to have it removed already.

I have had Mirena since feb 09 nd i have had low backaches,fatigue vaginal discharge and i just have had first menstrual period since placed and its lasted a week today and still a pretty steady flow. I am still going to see how it works but im glad i found these posts

I have had it for almost 5 years now and i have been feeling the same way, headaches, 0 sex drive, and its painful when i have sex.
but i had a question, if its been almost 5yrs can i get pregnant? I have been feeling sick the past week like im pregnant..

ok I posted a few months ago about my experience with this pill. Well Im now back to say it is starting not to work. My period started about 8 days ago and has not stopped but get this I am not taking the brown pills so I should not be getting a period @ all. Go figure. Also my breast which were large before I started this pill is HUGER now I take pictures from the neck up cuz I l look like Im swollen. I am now taking two pills a day to stop the bleeding so we will see but when this pack is gone im off these for good. I have had horrible cramps as if i was not on the pill. I can say the bleeding was considerably light considering I cannot leave out side my house when Im on my period usually. But the reason for me starting the pill was to not have periods at all!!!

I was put on yasmin by my doctor to help decrease a ovarian cyst... I love this medication. I feel great, losing weight easily, depression much better. I am sorry for the ones who are having problems... there are always going to be people that dont react the right way to any drug. I have been there myself. I am usually allergic to every thing. I suggest... try yasmin...if it doesnt work for you try something else. Good luck

All medications have anticipated side-effects, so why can't we accept the positive benefits of meds provided to the public on a self-selected commercial basis !

To the last posting,

all ill say first is stop taking yasmin!! i was on it for 1 month only and i suffered the chest pains but not as bad as u say urs are and i also had and still have heart palpitations.... ive been off yasmin for almost 5 months now and it has gotten a lot better than wat it used to be but it was a slow process getting here...
everyone is different tho and ur body may react differently to other pls... i didnt gain wait (knock on wood) but any side effect is bad enuf...
trust me dont take yasmin !! you will get better tho its just gonna take time for ur hormones to get back on track... be patient and you'll get through it i promise...
