Waist area symptoms and conditions

Pain in right side lower back (around waist area). Like you have gas in your back. Constipation...dizziness.

I was put on prednisone 1/1/06 for low platelets/cll. I started at 80mg for 5 days. It didn't work so they had me drop 10mg/week. When I was down to 50mg I was given a mild chem and for that they increased my predisone to 80mg for 5 days. Then I dropped to 30mg/week and today I drop to 10mg/day. The side effects from dropping from 80 to 30mg was awful. My stomach has pupped out and puts pressure on my waist area. I didn't gain weight but I now have lost 2 pounds. I'm very uncomfortable and can't wait until this drug leaves my body. Has anyone experienced this?

I developed a few small dry patches of skin on my waist area which a layer of skin actually peeled off of then became red but do not itch at all. The skin around my waist has become very dry and flaky. I don't see this happening to anyone else... is this a normal side effect??? I took doxy twice a day for five days about eight to ten days before this developed.
Anyone else develope extremely sensitive skin which wasn't exposed to sunlight???
