Warning on the label symptoms and conditions

I had went to the dr. a few weeks back for sinus problems. My dr. gave me amoxicillin to take. After 1 week, My sinus infection was
not any better at all so he gave me 400mg of avelox to take once a day for 10 days. I immediately experienced dizziness and extreme bouts of tiredness. Since that was the primary warning
on the label I did not pay it any attention and continued to take the meds. After 6 days of taking the meds I have decided to
discontinue using the meds. I have experienced some severe side effects which are dizziness,fatigue, increased headaches,
upset stomach, extremely loose stool, stomach cramps, blurred vision and severe and almost debilitating ankle pain, leg pain, knee
pain, wrist pain, elbow pain, shoulder pain, lower back pain and neck pain.
I have also had a rapid heart rate so bad at times it feels like my heart is
going to beat right out of my chest. I feel anxious and very short
tempered as well. I am snappy with my loved ones for no reason at
all and what is worst is I still have severe sinus pressure and
pain as if the infection hasn't even went away. The only plus is that I can
breathe clearly through my nose for the first time in 3 and a half
weeks. I guess that's not really much of a trade off now is it.

Thank you so much for this site and your posts. I am on my 4th day of doxy. and I had a panic attack today and anxiety--I was doing fine until now. I would consider myself a calm person so this caught me out of the blue. I called the pharmacist who thought I was nuts, I'm sure. She said it was not a side effect of the drug!! I also noticed some nerve pain over my body. But my infection is lots better so I don't want to stop, but I don't want to have panic, either or get sicker.

I also get the stomach queasiness when taking a dose and always eat a slice of bread with it. I have noticed a worsening of reflux and I make sure to sit upright for at least an hour after taking the medication.

I have been taking 10mg of Lisinopril once a day for about a month, at 1st I was prepared to become dizzy due to the warning on the label, however, that never happen. I continued to take it and noticed I was just tired all the time, walking short distances - I became very fatigued in my legs, I would wake up coughing almost choking, terrible headaches which wouldn't go away, feeling bloated, sinus pressure, I would wake up with my head just pounding, increased body temp, but would also get cold really easily. I just thought maybe it was me and perhaps I just wasn't sleeping enough or stressed out, couldn't really understand why I was feeling this way. This weekend, was the worst, I could tell there was something wrong, I couldn't do anything without my blood pressure rising --- my head was killing me. I stayed still most of the day and took aspirin to try to ease my headache. Nothing seem to work, my husband was so worried he wanted me to go to the ER. Being I know it takes a long time in the ER I really just didn't want to have to sit for hours in a waiting room, I didn't go. I started thinking about when I started getting these symptoms -- it was around the same time I started taking Lisinopril. So I looked it up online and saw the side effects - I decided I'd stop taking it. The next day, my headache went away and I've been feeling better since I stop taking it. I know my blood pressure is still high; which is why I was taking this medication to begin with, but it isn't bad as it was when I was taking it. I'm not sure if it can cause your blood pressure to increase, but for some reason mine did. I called my doctor's office today, my doctor isn't in, but I'm not going to be taking this medication any longer. I am posting again to say to click on SINGULAIR in the news on this page and you will see a story on exactly what this drug is capable of.This story was aired in New york but also went out to other nbc affiliated stations.I am the mom of the boy that died ,and am now planning a trip to Washington DC with a NY.Senator and Congresswoman.We are going to speek to the FDA and request that this drug be reevaluated for safety reasons.If they will consider also a black box warning on the label that would also help parents to know the seriousness of the side effects.If you have questions you can send me a private email and I will do the best I can to direct you in helping in your State.

I have been taking Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg twice a day for over two years now. It was a rough road in the beginning. If I don't take it with a good amount of food, I get indigestion, followed by urgent bowel movement, then nausea leading to vomiting. Every time, within half an hour of taking it. If I take it with yogurt or fruit, same thing happens, so I eat more substantial or starchy foods. The difference in my acne is miraculous, so I keep taking it. All my side effects are temporary, no lasting effects. The warning on the label about avoiding sun is there for a reason, I burn so easily now, even while riding in the car on a sunny day, and it feels like tiny droplets of hot oil being spattered on my skin.
