I have been on this for 1 month. The first two weeks was fine then I started feeling bloated big time. I do exercises for my stomach and I know I have good core muscles and I can't hold my stomach in. I'm not working right now need to be looking for work but I have been waiting for the bleeding to stop and the bloating to disappear. I am getting off of this. All of the head problems people are having are due to the extra drug in Yaz that deals with moodiness. I have been on tons of different anti- everything and usually it takes at least 3 to 4 weeks to adjust to your brain. If not it's not for you. I am completely off of meds now because I took the steps to freedom in Christ in a book called Breaking the Bondage by Neil T Anderson. I took ortho tri-cyclene before years ago and it did great compared to this stuff. Taking something to help with moodiness just causes a person to be numb to their feelings. The feelings don't go anywhere the pile up and that's why you find yourself at times crying uncontrollably. The only way to heal these things is to face them and the only one that can take that pain from you is Jesus. I know I tried everything. Exercise and changes in your eating habits will help with period problems. Water water water will help with acne.

Hi Sherry...
I feel your pain...I recently talked with a nutrisionist who helped me lose 15 pounds. I was doing what it sounds like you are...not eating at all and trying to work out as much as I could. She told me that not eating was the worst thing you could do. Your body goes into survival mode and stores ALL the fat you do intake because you aren't feeding it! If you actually eat enough GOOD foods to be full, your body will sense that things are OK and start shedding the pounds instead of stock pilling them for later. The other suggestion she had, which worked well for me, was drink only ICE WATER with every meal. It shrinks the pores in your stomach that absorb fat (because they are so cold) and therefore, you should retain less fat. Besides, it helps you to feel full as well. WATER, WATER, WATER...I know it sounds silly when you are retaining it to begin with, but it's the same effect as not eating, the more water you drink, the less you retain. This really did work for me and I still use it as part of my daily life, I've only gained 4 pounds back after stopping this pill about 7 weeks ago and I'm praying that I can keep it at that, we'll see.
Protien bars (low carb ones with at least 20 grams of protien) for breakfast, help to speed up your metabolism, also. The other thing for me was bread products or anything with much flour in it (pasta especially). I cut them out almost totally. Made me feel so much better when they were gone! It was a VERY hard thing to give up though, I'm a bread freak!
I really hope that some of this helps. Keep your chin up....

I am 31 years old and I FINALLY have relief from the pain caused by endo. I have been dealing with this crap for about 14 years. I have only been on it for 1 month. The hot flashes are TERRIBLE!! But I guess it beats the pain. I have been reading some of the other people that have posted their side effects. Some of you are saying that you have been on Lupron for 1 year or even 2 years. My Dr. says you can only use if for 6 months. I guess I should've asked more questions. Any suggestions on what to do about the hot flashes - other than put a fan in my face??
