I am currently on my Lupron and have found it to be a nightmare for me! I am only on it for one month. My doctor is wanting to see if the cyst and fibroids are the sourse of my pain. My pelvic pain has pretty much ended, but I would take it all back in a heart beat if it meant all these side effects would go away. Hot Flashes lasting about 10 minutes at a time, night sweats so bad I have had to change my clothing, migrains (I've had 5 in two weeks) that just knock me out for a full 24 hours, memory loss, joint pain, itchy skin, and mood swings like nothing I have ever experienced. To top it all off, I have had quite heavy bleeding while on it as well. I finally called the doctor and told him I was suffering more now than before the shot. He is going to put me on a small dose of esterdol (sp?) and see if that will help while I wait for this junk to leave my body. I just pray the effects will not be permanent.
I am happy for those who have found help for endo and cancer from this drug and I realize that some people will not have serious effects, but a certain percentage does. There's no way of knowing what you will do until you try it, but just be prepared that you could be one of unfortunate ones who do suffer horrifically while on Lupron.

My son is now 6 and was on Singulair for 4 1/2 yrs, since age 18 months. After finding this site I immediately took him off of this medication 6 months ago. He was having so many of the effects listed. Everything from easily upset stomach to "leg heaviness/discomfort", aggression, ADHD type symptoms, frequent skin rashes, telling me he only had bad dreams and not good ones, tantrums. We have also been unable to completely toilet train him. He still wets his pants during the day frequently unless reminded constantly. I have seen some mention of this on the site. All of the other symptoms and behaviours I just thought were normal "boy" things until he started Kindergarten and it was brought to our attention by teachers they were not. When I read this site I realized that nearly every entry seemed to describe my son.
We saw a decrease in aggression and a "settling down" almost immediately after discontinuing Singulair & bathroom accidents decreased & leg/stomach complaints ceased, but still having the bathroom problems w/physical causes ruled out. I am afraid that, after so long on this Medication, the remaining problems we have may be ingrained and habit now. We are still struggling w/school behaviours, etc. After about 6 school conferences w/teacher and principal, etc in Kindergarten we are also checking for ADHD. It scares me to realize that all of this could have been triggered by this medication and I have no way of knowing if the problems will continue. Has anyone else had their child on this med so young for this length of time and had the above problems? If so, how long did it take to resolve the problems after discontinuing the medication (or has it resolved)? I am still seeing improvement since discontinuing the medication but it seems very slow. All of the information on this site makes me wonder how many of the kids out there on meds for ADHD take or have taken Singulair.

I am normally a very physically fit specimen, working outside every day. One 500 mg. tab of this poisencompletely debilitated me. Within six hours of taking levaquin I experienced excruciation soreness in my arms and shoulders. My throat swelled up and I could barely breath. I was perscribed steroids to stop the swelling - I took only ONE 500 mg time release tab 7 days ago and today I am still experiencing incredible pain.I am so sore I can't sleep. If anyone wants to start a call action suit I am in - I have NEVER sued anyone - but I am furious.Any advise out there as to how I can flush this poisen out of my system?
