Website thanks symptoms and conditions

I'm so glad I found this website - thanks to all of you who have shared. I had a Kenalog injection in May 09 and about a couple of months ago noticed an indentation in the side of my leg. I had it given in my leg instead of buttocks due to other health issues currently going on. It is sore sometimes and hurts sometimes when I bend down or exercise. I also had abnormal periods for several months and didn't realize that it was related to the injection. I had a sinus infection/ear infection and had to get on a plane to go out of the country the next day, otherwise I would have never done this. No one mentioned (or I think knew) anything about the possible muscle/skin side effects. Does anyone know about a class action suit regarding this? I've already made a report with the FDA. I am working with a dr that is doing soft tissue work on it weekly, this does seem to be helping, the indentation decreases quite a bit, but it the indentation increases if I don't have the soft tissue work. I'm hoping I won't have to have plastic surgery to fix this, but looks like I will looking at all the other postings. Does anyone know of a class action law suit regarding this? I tried the person listed in Delaware's e-mail listed on the posting, but it wouldn't go thru.

I have been on levothroid 25mg for a year but went to see an endocrinologist who switched me to Levoxyl 75mg which I have taken for a week. I have developed tiny bruises on my body. I am waiting for my doctors office to call back to see what they say. I don't think I want to take it anymore. I am glad i found this website. Thanks to everyone for all the information.

I started taking Lisinopril last March, and my monthly cycle went from a normal cycle to a debilitating three day pain fest.
The first month I had a uterine cramp like comparable to labor that lasts for three straight days. The second month I added a sharp pain in my stomach that compared to a severe food poisoning episode but the only symptom was the pain.

This continued through June, when I asked my physician to switch me to a different medication although he did not think the side effects I was describing was related to the Lisinopril. The next month the uterine cramp was less severe but I also was treating with Midol which may have been the reason.

Last month, at my six month check my blood pressure was still not where my doctor want to see it, so he put me back on Lisinopril and kept me on the Hydrochlorothiazide, now I am on two medications!

After reading this site, it occurs to me that my shoulder where I had surgery two years has also been acting up the last six months as well. I have been doing PT again after the pain increased and I asked my surgeon what to do. He made not connection to the medication I am taking as a possible source.

The only other thing is I have lost some weight, with relative easy (not usual for me). Which I had attributed to a change of eating pattern due to my new work schedule.

All things to consider now that I have read this website.

Thanks to all who share, this is the best way to understand that everyone does react differently and you have really pay attention to what is going on with your own body when you are taking any medication.

My husband was prescribed sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. After taking the medicine for 9 days, he broke out with red bumps (rash) on both of arms, and he complained about being itchy. Now he has them on his legs as well. I did some research and found out this website. After reading some of the side effects I am pretty sure that his rash is due to taking the medicine. He will follow up with the doctor just to make sure. I'm glas I found this website. Thanks!!!

I have never taken BP meds before in my life. Began Lisinopril HCTZ 10-12.5 MG 1/day about 8 months ago. It seemed to have a positive effect on my blood pressure, however I had never connected some of the side effects to this medication.

For some time, I have had difficulty breathing, panic attacks, severe gagging coughing attacks which seem to occur out of the blue, many so severe that I begin to throw up in the middle of wherever I happen to be. I have had these attacks so severely that when they begin to occur while I am driving I immediately begin to get off the roadway as I begin to choke, eyes tear up severely, and the clear mucus type substance is thrown up.

It is horrible and very embarrassing especially when it occurs in a restaurant or department store. I do not sleep well as the coughing keeps me awake most nights. I notice lately that my eyes seem to be constantly blurry, teary, and I experience severe mood swings, fatigue, crazy thoughts and nightmares on an almost nightly basis.

I am so exhausted most of the time, even though I previously was very active and able to work in excessive heat, no more, I begin to sweat profusely and feel faint.

I live alone so am afraid of just dropping dead. While I have had migraine headaches most of my adult life, I seem to have them much more now and when they do occur, they are totally disabling. I had no idea this could be attributed to a BP med until stumbling onto this website.

Thanks to all for your comments. I am trying to get my BP under control through a common sense weight loss/ exercise program and sensible diet and plan on asking my doctor whether I can get off this altogether. I thought I was losing my mind.

I am so glad I ran into this website. Thanks ladies. I got on the NuvaRing last Tuesday (one week ago) and I already started feeling most of the side effects you all are explaining here. I got cramps in my calves, weight gain, my right breast got much larger than my left breast and is highly sensitive. It hurts when I lie on my belly. I have been sleeping a lot more too and feeling drained. 2 days ago i said forget this. I took it out and i feel so much better now - truly. it's amazing how quickly those hormones can get into your system and make you so different. It's not worth it. it's not natural and feels highly risky. I feel much better now after having read all of your side effects. Thank you.

Hello, I am getting Mirena inserted tomorrow evening. I am 32, mother of 2. Now that I have come across this website I am a bit nervous about all of the side effects I am reading about. I have been having serious problems with the pill over that past several months- bleeding/clotting for 2 weeks at a time, extreme moodiness and no sex drive to name a few. I will definitely keep an eye out for all of these symptoms everyone is talking about. I appreciate everyone's posting on this website. I have been on the NuvaRing for 3 months now, today is the end of my 3rd week so I have taken it out. Thank God for it being my 3rd week!! I thought that I was pregnant for about 2 weeks until I decided to look into the NR side effects, I am so grateful for this website!!! Thanks to all the ladies who posted their experiences and sorry for the crazy side effects... I have been experiencing severe back pains, chest discomfort, headaches all the time, AND MAJOR MOOD SWINGS (CRYING, DEPRESSION, FEELING TIRED ALL THE TIME (LIKE NOW)), blurred vision, nausea, and stomach pains in my side.. If any ladies have went to the doctor for this and found a better birth control, other than the pill or the shot, I would love to know what you decided to do, and if your sypthoms went away when your period came on? It's 2:47 AM and I can't sleep, have been taking this horrible drug for 4 days for a sinus infection. I have constant drainage in the back of my throat and a bitter taste in my mouth. Insomnia and when I finally sleep, nightmares and crazy dreams. The prescription just went in the trash can, I would rather have a sinus infection than to deal with this. I couldn't understand why I felt this way until I found your website. Thanks so much, never will I take this again.

I've been taking Advair for three weeks. Some very strange things have been happening to my body, such as:weight gain, can't eat hot spicy food, no fruit, soda, or hot drinks. Tongue is so very sore and bright red. Leg cramps continue both during day and night. I thought I was going crazy until I read this website. Thanks to all who have shared their discomforts. Let me add that my husband has been on Advair for five years and has never had any side effects. I guess some can and some can't take this medication.

I am so grateful to have found this website. Thanks a bunch to my therapist. I have been suffering severe anxiety/depression, irritability, fatigue, heart accelerations, severe sweating at night, shakes in the morning, and nausea. Just to name a few side effects. Why did I have to come across this pill? It has made the last 2 years of my life miserable. I thought I was crazy but after reading about other people and their problems I am realizing that I am not. Thank you to all those women out there for posting your side effects. For those of you who are thinking of trying this pill, don't. I now realize that I have months of detoxing to get this out of my system.

It's not 3:15 am, but I was still up at 3am this morning :-( I'm experiencing almost all of these symptoms as well. I've been unable to sleep since I started taking this a few days ago and I feel like my heart rate is thru the roof! Poor sleep patterns, hot flashes, increased heart rate, lack of ambition, axious and moodyness. I've had them all. I thought I was going crazy! Last night, I even thought I might be having an anxiety attack, which started me thinking that it might be this medication. Before I started taking this, I was so completely calm and relaxed, except for the cold. I'm so glad I found this website. Thanks.
