Wile symptoms and conditions

I just started my second pack of Loestrin 24 Fe two days ago. I have not had any nausea, weight gain, unusual acne, loss of libido, or crazy mood swings. I have, however, had non-stop breakthrough bleeding. In the past month, there has only been one day where I was not bleeding. I take it at the same time every morning and have not missed a day. I'm really trying to be patient and give it a couple more months...but it has gotten very annoying. I got on the pill because I recently decided to become sexually active. Having my period 24/7, though, has kept me from actually wanting to start. I was on Ortho (the original) back in high school for regularity, and it made me gain 15 pounds and have intense mood swings. Beyond the btb, I love the lack of weird side effects....has anybody made it past the first 3 months to find more regularity with no side effects?

I had my Mirena inserted in the beginning of july after having my second child. I made a horrible mistake. I had cramps so bad that I would actually be in so much pain from I turned pale and cry whenever they happened. I constantly bled from the day it was inserted until the day I had it removed which was Oct 29th. Almost 3 months. Some days would be worse than others. Right before I had it removed I had to go to the hospital because I was pouring out blood as if I was peeing. It made me have severe mood swings. One minute I'd be extremely happy then the next I was really hateful and wanted to punch someone. I would get light headed a lot from loosing that amount of blood right before it was removed. It made me tired all the time.I had a lot of migraines. It affected my sex life for the obvious reason I couldn't because I never stopped bleeding besides the fact I had no desire to.

But since I've had it removed from I guess the lack of hormones I am having hot flashes and nausea and getting shivers wile changing from being hot in cold ever few minutes. Its subsided though since I started a new birth control last night. I'm only 20 and I didn't obviously know what a hot flash even was and it scared me i remember I went out to the hospital for a second time because of it lol. Now that I know what they feel like I really don't look froward to going through the change. I'm getting better and better each day since I haven't had it in. I just feel better and my bleeding has subsided.

I would never recommend Mirena to anyone.

Hi everyone....I wish I would have done my homework on Femcon before I started taking it. I have not had a period since my son was born....almost 3 years ago! My ob-gyn thought something was wrong with me and did every test known to man but everything came back normal. She prescribed Femcon to "help" regulate my period. I came on my period in the middle of taking my second week. I have been on my period,heavily, for the past 9 days! I want to pull my hair out! I am constantly cramping and bloated to no end! Not to mention my husband is getting irritated because we have not had sex in almost three weeks(he was out of town on business for two weeks)! I am going to call my ob-gyn today to see if she can prescribe a different birth control pill because if this is what it takes to regulate my period, I would have been fine not having one!

I took levaquin almost 4 years ago for a period of a couple of weeks. I noticed joint pain in my elbows, hips, knees, and wrists. I stopped taking the pills when I did a search for side effects because I knew something had suddenly changed with my health. With no particular warning a year after stopping the levaquin I started having lower back pain that lasted for almost two years constantly and now comes every month or so. I have recently suffered tendon damage and joint pain in my right thumb, and after 9 weeks I am healing very slowly. My right knee is very tight, with pain in/under the knee cap. I have very stiff/ painful achilles tendons on both feet. I know levauin caused joint pain wile I was taking it and I believe I am still suffering from it's ill effects. I am a slim 36 year old, otherwise healthy male. I think levaquin may have aged my joints 30 years in just a couple of weeks.
