WOW thats all I have to say! I'm 23 and have been on this ring for about 2 years. I'm so glad to hear everyones input on this RING! Now I know whats wrong with me I 've been to the doctor just recently to get my hormones checked out because I'm experiencing all the side effects everyone has talked about the one I have the most is the No Sex drive at all. Man I thought this was all just something worng with me, can this ring really make you lose your sex drive like I have? Wow never could have thought of it. Now that I know I guess I should take it out today but I don't know what other form of BC to use I hate them all because i forget to take them-but I guess it shouldn't matter If I have no desire to have sex anyway right? By the way I 've lost my boyfriend over this no sex drive he ended up cheating but I guess I can't blame him I used to want it everyday. I can't believe this thanks everybody for your views and Good Luck!

My doctor prescribed Levaquin 500mg as the 3rd antibiotic to treat a sinus infection that just would not go away. Unfortunately I'd taken 12 of the 14 pills prescribed before I found this site while trying to figure out what was worng with me. I'm experiencing sleeplessness, extreme lethargy, neck pain, muscle & joint pain and I'm having difficulty concentrating at work. I've stopped taking this awful drug and can't wait for that point it works its way out of my system.

I am very sorry to hear about the problems you all have experienced. I thank you for taking the time to post your experiences here so that people like me have others to turn to.

I have not taken Lupron. In fact, I refused to take it at my doctor's insistence. I am a healthy 45 year old woman - why would I give that up for a temporary fix (6 months at most) for my endometriosis when I may have other options?

I don't want to trade my low blood pressure, healthy body weight, healthy bones, ability to sleep, clear skin, normal bowel movements, lack of severe migraines and lack of irritability for lack of endo pain.

I do not discount the endo pain - it can be crippling - but so is this drug! Everyone must make their own decision regarding whether or not to take Lupron but please, please do your research. Most doctors don't let you know that you have options. Call the Endometriosis Organization and ask for a specialist in your area. Endo is a little-known and often misunderstood disease. Find yourself a surgeon with a great deal of experience with endo - NOT an OB with a great deal of experience delivering babies.

It really upsets me to see so many women feel that they have to pay this price to relieve the pain. I am going to an endo specialist for a second opinion in a couple of weeks. I don’t know what he’ll say about my case but I am pretty sure the answer won’t be Lupron.

I am not usually a person who senses a doctor or a drug company is unethical, but remember, there will be no greater advocate for your health than yourself! Educate yourself, and ask your doctor lots of questions. If your doctor gives you a hard time – find another one. It’s your body and you have to live with the consequences.

hello everyone! I went off Yasmin about two months ago and have been spotting (pretty light) almost every day since then. Is this normal?? I'm worried something might be wrong. Or could this just be a side effect of going off Yasmin and my body getting re-adjusted??

Prior to going on the pill I was very irregular and didn't get my period often...so it is strange that all of a sudden I am spotting daily.

Going off the Yasmin was horrible for me. I had headaches, bloating, and cramping which I never had before. While on Yasmin I didn't think I had any side-effects although after finding this site I now think different. For the past three years I've been experiencing anxiety/panic attacks....something I never experienced before. I never realized though that they could be linked to Yasmin. Funny, but since going off Yasin 2 months ago I have not had any anxiety attacks!!! I'm hoping that this is the answer!

Anyway, please let me know if anyone had any negative aide-effects after going off YASMIN!!!! Please! I have 2 children and hoping for a 3rd. Hopefully the spotting isn't b/c something is worng!

Thanks,
Lisa

After looking at the listed side effects for Pred. i can say that my wife has expierenced all of them. She has Chrons and was on Pred. for about 9 months. Just so you all dont feel like your crazy, ill post what this "miracle drug" had done for our family. INSOMENIA, she would sleep for about 3 hours a day, man was my house clean! MOOD SWINGS, she would flip out for no reason. She even wanted a devorce! For no particular reason, she " just wanted me out of the house ". WEIGHT GAIN, she went from a size 3 to a size 13.*note* she lost weight in the first month, went down to a size 2. MOON FACE, she kept saying she looked like a jack-o-lantern. BURNING SENSATION, she would just break out in a sweat, and complain of "feeling" hot. ACNE, neck, back, and chest. FATIGUE, she just couldnt move, always felt "drained". EATING LIKE A LINE BACKER, she would polish off a full sized bag of cheese curls, and look for more. DEPRESSION, would just break down and cry, for no reason. I would ask, whats worng, and get " i dont know ...." BACK PAIN, she would wake up with major back pain. We contributed this to the added weight, pressing on her back while asleep. SNORING, agian, do to he added weight.

My question is this, my wife has been off the Pred for almost 50 days now, and she has lost little weight. It kills me that she looks in the mirror and cries now because she still has the added weight. She has lost a little in the face, and in the ankle area, but had yet to loose a majority of the weight gain. Her Dr. told her that it will take another 2 - 3 months to loose her weight and get back to "normal". If some one can varify this; the long gradual weight loss, it would make my wife feel so much better, knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks in advance,

******
