It is wonderful for the pain. I have shoulder arthritis and costochondritis. I get 3 shots a year. One in each shoulder and one in the chest. I get the hot feeling, insomnia, pain worse for about 3 days. Then I get an itchy feeling in my chest like it is healing.

Hello! I have been coming back to this website so many times and can relate to everyone that post their symptoms with Mirena. I have come to seriously hate to even say the word...Mirena! I had mine inserted January 08 and have suffered terrible headaches and was put on an anti-depressant a little over 3 months ago and my headaches have returned again. I also suffer from terrible cramping that I have to take pain killers for especially around my period. I have had two ovarian cysts in the past year. One of which almost sent me to the ER. I go back in 3 weeks for an ultrasound to see if the cyst has gone away. I am recently having some nausea just like other women are describing. I am finally posting my information because I want other women to know that they do NOT need to have this procedure done. I too hate to have it removed because of the money but the symptoms are not worth it. I am 99% sure I am going to have this removed soon and I will post how I am feeling after this is all said and done. For those of you who are suffering from the symptoms of Mirena you are not alone. Doctors may tell you that it's not Mirena but chances are it is and YOU know your body better than anyone.

My wife started taking Reglan last year one week before she committed suicide at the age of 57. She had never been diagnosed in her life as depressed, but obviously she was at the end. Two years previous she had a hysterectomy as part of treatment for uterin cancer. Five months previous to her suicide she got sick and after many weeks was diagnosed with acid reflux. She was given Nexium for this, but continued to suffer from the reflux. I believe somewhere in this time she became depressed though she continued to deny it right up to the day she took her own life. I really do not know if the Reglan or the Nexium was behind her suicide, but I believe it is quite possible. I should be mad as hell about this, but for now I just can not get beyond the grief. I am putting this out here just to say you may want to be very careful with Reglan!!!

after using Lipitor for 5 years, after my doctor ignoring my muscle pain complaints for over a year one night my neck muscles started to convulse
like a dog coming out of a lake
this immediately led to a severe bout of vertigo, could not move my head with out fainting for 3 to five hours
doctor diagnosed it as rheumatoid arthritis what a joke
the next day i could not get out of bed, my leg and arm muscles failed me
after about a week in bed i was able to get around on crutches and after 10 days could get around but in pain
doctors treated me like a leper of old,HIGH BLOOD TURBIDITY LEVELS
no one would commit to a diagnosis publically EVEN AFTER MEDICARE INQUIRED
they spent 50 k trying to prove it was not lipitor,THEY FAILED
after 3 months of memory loss, hallucinations weakness in all muscles
there was small improvement,NOT SO MUCH DEPRESSION,NOT DEAD TIRED ALL THE TIME,STILL NEEDED EXCESSIVE SLEEP TIME
thank god that some doctors i know came down with it so i was able to find out what it was LIPITOR
NOW A YEAR AND A HALF LATER I AM RECOVERING
MAY PHIZER ROT IN HELL, ONLY CURE IS TO GET OFF THE POISON
AND HOLD OFF ON EXERCISE UNTIL YOUR BODY DEMANDS IT
