Picked up a prescription for Lisinopril today. 20MG tablets for High Blood pressure. 57 yo male, smoker, beer drinker, chronic bronchitis. (Yeh, I know)
Was on beta blockers before (Tenormin) At night cramps in feet and calf mucles, cough, diareah, lethargic, fatigue, cough and most importantly IMPOTENT, Viagra is not all its cracked up to be.
So, as far as side effects, looks like they about simular, but I sure hope the impotency problem will be solved.
I'll take the stuff stuff tomorrow, but thanks to this site, I'm warned. Thanks to all. I asked my doctor to switch me to an ACE inhibitor. I want a normal sex life back, as I did before the Beta blockers, then I think I can live with some of the side effects.
I'll report back in a month.

this is for kitty....
i was on yasmin for one month only and have now been off it for 7 months. i too suffered from heart palpitations and chest pains aswell. i went to ER twice in 3 days becuase i felt like i was having a heart attack...my chest became very tight and heavy and yes my left arm ached and felt like a "dead arm"
yeh they told me it was stress too but i know it wasnt because i cope very well under pressure. anyways to answer your questions the first 2-3 months off yasmin were th emost difficult. now i feel a lot better. i still get the chest pains or racing heart sometimes when im ovulating or the week of my period but its not as bad as it was before..
i promise your gonna get better you wil see it just takes time for your body to detox...
drinks lots of water and do things like Yoga yo help with ur breathing ok...
and if you need anymore support i always check out this site to keep everyone informed...
remember your not alone..
