I was prescribed Cipro several months ago and took it for 6 days, when I began having stomach problems. I felt as if someone had kicked me in the stomach--no acute pain, but slightly nauseous. Doctor told me to stop Cipro, but I am still having the problem. I am fairly certain it can't possibly still be from the Cipro, but is that possible? I would like to feel good again. Thank you

I had similar symptoms of pain in left side (under my ribs) and traveling to my back/sides. I was diagnosed with Clostridium Difficile, a toxin induced bacteria that is traditionally caused by taking antibiotics such as Cipro (which I had taken a few months before I was diagnosed with C. Diff). The funny thing about C. Diff is that the most obvious symptom is extreme diarrhea, however, I didn't have diarrhea and they never thought to test for it. I had a colonoscopy and the results came back from a stool culture taken at that time. Please go to your doctor and have them test for toxins/bacteria/parasites. Good luck!
