I have always been told by doctors that I had a perfect heart, and should live to 100! In midJanuary 2005, I experienced all the symptoms of a heart attack, like the mother of Guest #3586, above--namely, shortness of breath, gasping for breath, heart palpitations, etc. The ER doctor said all my heart signs were excellent, just stop taking the detrol. He has seen many others with symptoms like mine who were also taking detrol. I immediately stopped and felt better for a while. By midMarch, feelings of constant fatigue, etc, etc, drove me to a doctor again, who informed me that I had a loud heart murmer, and needed to see a heart specialist at once. I did, and within a week I was undergoing open heart surgery to repair a badly damaged mitral valve.
