After reading these postings, I am somewhat comforted to see that I'm not crazy. I've been taking lipitor for more than a year - and 6 months ago I started getting unbelievably horrible leg cramps at night. It's hardly what I would call a "muscle ache" - the pain is excruciating. Then I started getting the cramps during the middle of the day - often while sitting in a meeting for an hour or more. And, until reading these postings, I hadn't made the connection of the weird skin rash (psoriasis? eczema?) I've developed. Per my m.d., I quit taking the medication about 1 month ago....but still experiencing the bad side effects (although not quite as frequently). Does it get better?
