I know i get drunk alot easier i've never been paranoid from smoking pot but that to seems to have more of an affect on me i've been on citilopram for two years i'm now on 50mg a day and if i stop only bad things happen

Anyone who smokes pot and is taking any kind of anti-depressant or any other type of medication is just asking for trouble, Maybe you'll be in the news like Heath Ledger from all you're doing to your body. It's a shame you feel you have to do illegal drugs to get through your day :(

I think you are gambling with your life smoking pot and taking an antidepressant. Anytime someone mixes any drug whether legal or not is going to find themselves in the news like Heath Ledger. It is a shame you feel you have to do illegal drugs to get through your day or you want to feel strange. My sympathies to you :(

i just started on celexa and i had the same experiance with pot! i wasnt laughing anymore when i smoked it just would get real paranoid and ow i laugh again! one or two beers are good but drinking more than that is bad on meds for your liver plus it just makes me tired to drink more. i sometimes just get to where i cry sometimes on celexa but its funny cause i never used to do that and it feels good. i think this is a good medecine to be on for a couple months if you don't feel social.

I have just started on these tablets (3 weeks in) and the first week I felt WEIRD! Halved my dose in the end, and felt great for another week. Recently I have gone back to my original dose and I don't feel depressed or happy.
I smoke regularly too and until you mentioned it hadn’t realised but I feel any paranoia to do with smoking has disappeared too. I haven't wanted a drink on them yet either which is very unusual for me.

I think it is bad to mix drugs alcohol and meds but some people are stuck in a life they either like or feel they only have fun doing what they know. i have been smoking pot for probably 15 years or so along with drinking on pretty regular basis. Recently started taking celexa one time in the last month i had gotten extremely sick after going out drinking, also very recentely i have gotten high for the first time in a few weeks and have lost my mind and gotten sick. Felt like the first time i got sick while smoking pot got a wierd rush through my body got pale and pucked a couple times the first time, last night was the second time and i got pale felt the rush and felt like i was getting sick but didnt. It didn't last very long but was hoping I was not the only one that has felt this and see if they stopped everything all together or what?
