I have been on Prednisone for two years now. I have gained 80 pounds and can almost never sleep. I have to be on this horrible drug or I lose my sight and use of my legs. When I am on it I have some use of my legs and see. So I need to continue taking it. I take 30 mg. a day when things are going well. I take 100 when things are not going well. If anyone has been on this drug and been able to maintain weight please let me know. I hate being fat and long to wear the clothes I own. I hate shopping for clothes cause I am so so so very fat now. I struggle lots with depression not sure if it a side effect but I know I work hard to find good things about myself. I use to wear a size 4 or 5 now I am a 20 or 22. I have all the support in the world but still feel like I am useless. I can not do anything AND I am fat. angela
