My dermatologist prescribed this for acne (Im 49 and still had cystic acne due probably to neuroleptics.) It cleared my skin, after taking for a couple of months. The real surprise, though, was regrowth of hair on my head, which had gotten thinner without mty noticing!?!! Felt weak while taking Aldactone, and also had a couple of episodes of flu-like symptoms when I took Naproxyn for pain at the same time I was on Aldactone. Can't mix Aldactone with the NSAIDS, which I found out!!!!
