I have been on lipitor for 2 yrs. Finding that it has reduced my chol.from 238 to 144 is great. Now the side effects. I itch all over, I am yellow -skin and my whites of my eyes. My urine is almost brown and my stool is white. I found out that my liver is effective. I am not secreting protein from my body. If anyone needs to read anything , there is the time magazine from week of December 19th and the side effects on Lipitor. My Dr. tells me no it is my liver but I am not a drinker or smoker and I am 58 yr. female and never to any drugs till Lipitor.
