I took 25 mg of Toprol for the first time today for high blood pressure and a high heart rate. I also have mitral valve regurgitation. Already, I can tell that I'm in a fog, very tired, and my chest hurts. I even took a nap around 4:00 pm today, and had a terrible dream. My hand and feet have been freezing cold too. Is it safe to stop taking this medication, since I have only taken 1 pill? I want to call my Doctor tomorrow. Thanks!!! Jeannie
