I have taken Advair 100/50 one puff in the morning for several years. It has worked wonders in alleviating my Asthma. The trouble is I now have developed type II Diabetes. Also I have put on about 30lbs. that I don't seem to be able to loose. I eat about 2000 calories a day and exercise 5-6 times a week. I also have high triglycerides, high cholesterol and fatty liver. After reading the posts in this forum, I am convinced that the Advair is the cause. That being the case I made an appointment with my Allergist on Wednesday. I tell you what he has to say.

I'd be interested in hearing what he says. I've never had high cholesterol or high triglycerides nor do I have a family history of it. I started taking advair about two years ago and now everything is off the scale. I've been suspicious that it is advair all along, but my Dr assured me it wasn't.
