I have just completed my 6th shot of Lupron. One month after the 6th shot i had a followup visit where my doctor suggested I take Lybrel, the new birth control that stops your period for as long as you take it. I have been on it for 5 days. I started feeling sick to my stomach, having mild to moderate cramps, headaches...this was the first 2 to 3 days after starting Lybrel. At first I didnot think there was a connection. I assumed I had some sort of stomach bug. Then I noticed that I was feeling unstable...crying, angry, unable to eat, talking out loud to myself in the middle of the grocery store. I felt like I was going crazy. i feel like I am losing my mind or stuck in the twilight zone. Lybrel is so new that I couldnt find any infor on it. I have never reacted so badly to a medication so fast...Is it being off the Lupron or being on the Lybrel? I call my MD and she wants to see me ASAP. I hope that they get this undercontrol. I told my MD previously that this why I dont like Birth COntrol PIlls.. They make feel nuttttttssss. Please respond if you have any input or similar actions/reactions.
