My daughter has been taking Singulair for less than a year for her asthma. We have noticed that she is extremely hyper and that She is almost 7 yrs old and has an ear infection once to twice a month and they alternate. I was seriously considering tubes in her ear until i found a site saying singulair causes ear infections. I immediatly stoppped her medication and we are now free of ear infections. I almost put her through a surgical procedure and her Dr. who prescribed this drug to her was going to let me... I told him what i did and he was like yes singulair can give a pt hear infections but he didn't say that every week i was in his office when she was on it. gggrrrrrrrr
