My doctor prescribed nuva ring to help with perimenopause symptoms, and excessive bleeding. (I previously used a diaphram -14 years -which i loved by the way) He advised me to replace nuva ringevery 3 weeks and not have a period. Happily I tried it. I was ok for the first 6 weeks but have bled continously for the past 2 weeks. I also have had a killer headache for weeks now. I have found relief from perimenopase symptoms such as anxiety and depression however.
