I experienced nasty muscle aches in my back, hips and thighs after 4 doses of Singulair for allergy relief. My doctor's office had only samples of children's chewables and instructed me to double the dose, which would still be less than the adult dose. I filled an RX for the adult dosage, but will not be using it. The drug information service at my area college of pharmacy said "After extensive research, we have found only three documentations of Singulair causing muscle and joint pain. This is a rare side effect, but can happen and may explain your symptoms."
