I just started Welchol last month. 625mg. 2 tablets 2times a day. My pharmacist told me to take it with food. So I take it with breakfast & again at dinner. I also make sure I drink plenty of water with it. My abdomen is bloated & my tummy sticks out. YUK. I just read that this drug is not to be taken with out another medication for cholestrol. It isn't suppose to be used alone for cholestrol. I was on Caduet but had too much pain in legs.
