Hi Ladies, I've posted off and on for the past year about my Yasmin Hell. About a year ago, I stopped taking Yasmin because of severe anxiety, insomnia, night sweats, and hair loss (I'm only 26). My doctor told me it was not the Yasmin and it was just "stress" but when I stopped taking it, I suddenly started feeling better. I just want everyone out there to know, that the symptoms do go away eventually. It's been almost a year now and I am back to my normal self. I will never touch the stuff again. So if anyone is wondering when their bodies will get back to normal after getting off Yasmin, hang in there!

So do you think just yasmin makes the hair loss or do you think all birth control pills do this. I am 43. I took birth control a long time ago and never seem to have a problem. I since have had 2 kids that are almost grown now. My husband and I divorced so I thought it best that I go on the pill since I may be dating again ( husband had a vascetamy). After one month on yasmin my hair started falling out. I took it for 4 months then switched to ortho tri lo but I am still having some problems with hair loss. Not sure if I should just go off the pill completely or could the remaining hair loss just be reminents of the yasmin. Any thoughts?
