I have only been taking Lipitor for about a month. Before I started taking this drup I was warned by a co-worker not to take it. SHe complained about the leg cramps and the pain she experienced in her hip area. WHen I mentioned this to my doctor when he prescribed the medication to me, he more or less just laughed it off. I am getting the cramping in my calves and I am not sure if this is from the Lipitor or something else. I suppose the only way to tell is to stop taking the Lipitor. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? I looked at this website, because I wanted to find out what the side effects of Lipitor were. This site has really opened up my eyes.
