My mother was prescribed zocor a month ago and 2 weeks ago she started having terrible abdominal cramps and muscle weakness. I had to take to ER and doctors could not find anything wrong bec all tests came back OK. A week later she went back to the ER because the muscle pain was so bad she could hardly walk. She took herself off the medication. Now she's getting blisters and nodules on her legs and torso. Is this going to get better?
