I was taking 20mg of Lipitor for over a year and noticed that I was losing significant amounts of hair from my head. I decreased the dosage to 10mg, every other day, but I still saw hair loss. I stopped taking Lipitor about 3 months ago, and I don't see any new hair growth, and I'm still losing some hair, but at this point I suppose some hair loss is normal. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, what steps did you take to correct it? I am a 69 year old female. Thank you.
