hi justme. thanks for ur reply. i too have the same thing. sometimes i hear a click when i gulp. yes i did go to a GI specialist. had a upper GI series done too which was normal. so GI thought that the problem is not acid reflux. also i feel better if i take steam and use nasonex spray. still was prescribed prevacid for abt 20 days or so and then later was told to switch to pepcid 40 mg daily which i have been now taking for abt 3 months. after i stopped yasmin the sore throat got better but everytime period is due it comes back. family doctor told me that the throat lining becomes swollen before periods due to estrogen and fluid retention. so have to cut down on salty foods before periods r due. thanks for ur reply. helps to know that i am not the only one on this forum who keeps on asking about sore throat :)
